We loved our '93 and owned it for over 8 years. The rear seats also tumbled forward for even more rear space room. If that wasn't enough, they also could be removed completely with the squeeze of a lever.

The entire reason I remember a friend from Junior High comes down to.
    1) He smoked a ridiculous amount of weed and never let his friends forget
    2) His mother owned this vehicle and she never stopped talking about how good it was.

I have the Japanese version of this car with the 4G63T engine, I absolutely love it. It handles great, it revs really well and it can drive in 1ft of snow or mud like it's no problem. I've tuned it modestly to 375hp and have surprised many drivers thinking it was just some crappy minivan from the 90s. Happy to find there are other people out there enjoying these cars too.

This is what RCR should be, sadly Brian has lost his ways as the channel grew.

i had a 95 summit awd. i absolutely loved that thing. peppy as heck, good mpgs, flip the seats and u can fit a bike. Unfortunately, mine was automatic and around 140k miles, it crapped out. tried to have it fixed but the mechanics failed.

    I've had 3 of these.
1993 Plymouth Colt Vista SE. 4G94 AT. That got wrecked by my brother.
1994 ESW almost exactly like this one only 2wd and automatic. My first car and was in absolutely awful condition.
1992 Mitsubishi Expo LRV, 4g94 with manual. By far the best if the three.
This small and short-lived family of cars is an absolute gem. Car-like handling, extremely simple drivetrain that's cheap and easy to work on, upright seating position, excellent visibility, lots of interior space and a tight turning radius. The sliding door just about always breaks and body roll is a constant issue but it's handy, quirky and I just love them.

At the time, my friends and I thought this Summit Wagon was laughably ugly. Today I'd kill to own just a basic not-too-fancy and easy to work on car like this!!! We had no idea how lucky we were.😮

    This is like another multiverse.
Your channel brings the best in-depth commentary about history just like RCR. It is also the first car I owned, just re-badged as an original Mitsubishi Colt in Europe. Had it with 4G13 though, but the best car I ever owned, so many memories in it.
Thank you and keep it up :)

has the same clock and maybe HVAC controls as my 1993 Eagle 2000GTX. Quality of these cars is off the charts, its very over built in silly places. Worst time bomb problem with these is the ECU and TCU have capacitors that are now leaking corrosive goo.

Do you know if this one is for sale? Or has anyone found a 1996 AWD 3D wagon. That one has more airbags.
