As the sun rises on the opening hours of the zombie apocalypse, a handful of mall workers must find a way to work together in order to survive the day.
Dead America - Tales of the First Month is a new audio only series that focuses on the smaller stories of the zombie outbreak. These bite sized shorts focus on characters and situations that fall through the cracks of the main series.

I love these tales of the first month about everyday people. I will pay you to make more of these about doctors, military personal, mail carriers, pet doctors, policeman, politicians, actors, athletes, gang member, prisons, etc. I love hearing these accounts from the prospective of people from different cultures and backgrounds.
I am working hard on more of these (already have one lined up for next Wednesday). My day job might interrupt the process over the summer, (extended road trip) but my plan is that by the Fall I have weekly releases like this with zero interruption. I'm so glad you're enjoying them and I can't thank you enough for the support!

Yep, the original Dawn is what inspired me to start writing all those years ago (first saw it on VHS if that gives you an idea, haha).

First time I heard of mole walkers I was very confused . The only moles round here are very short sighted and so soft and furry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 English shopping malls are called centers, arcades or even precincts. Never seen anyone walking round them either like I have seen in videos . It is possible that they do that in some of the big cities maybe . 🥰

Another great entry in this series! the writing is outstanding, the characters terrific and the plotting is excellent. These stories are perfect! These are the heretofore untold tales from the background of every zombie novel I ever read. Even as you read a novel, you know that thousands of tales like this are happening in the background. It is so grand to find a series that gives life to things that happened to ordinary people as the zombie plague spread. It serves to vividly show how so much of humanity was wiped out in the very first hours of the zombie plague. It is an interesting idea how the first zombies appear in the night or the very early hours of the morning---that would only add to the chaos, and to people being unable to respond quickly or efficiently. It is easy to imagine how quickly the chaos would spread, with more and more zombies appearing as they killed.
I absolutely loved how the protagonist put the rude customer in his place. And you know what? most of the "customers" who are being jackasses are exactly like the man depicted in the story---they are not people who any business should go out of their way for. They never spend any real money and are more trouble than they are worth.
The story has a slightly hopeful ending, and we can only hope that our three heroes will be among the survivors.
Love your work and the world building is fantastic. Look forward to seeing how this all develops. And how different story strands tie together.

DUDE! Im loving these side stories being dropped in the middle of the week so fantastic especially with one in a zombie classic location like a mall would love to hear more of these guys story. I also finally figured out what the voice reminds me of it sounds like the law and order voice from the beginning credits lol anyways i hope we continue to get more of these they are fantastic!!
In the zombie apocalypse, the people are faced with two separate, yet equally dangerous groups. The humans who will kill for supplies, and the zombies who will devour their flesh. These are their stories. Dun-Dun!

First day story’s are big, it’s the fall that’s most interesting, the story of the zombie who bit “X” before the zombie became a it, other side of the mirror tales, your one of the few seem to get this, thank you

Love the story, the first week/ month is so hectic and emotional. I hoped there we're extra stories hidden away and these mid week drops really are appreciated. The Ai doesn't do the writing credit in my opinion. It's ok, but misses the pauses or the emotion or even a slight voice change to convey a character. I know it's a work in progress and I love this series, it's just my thoughts trying to help.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the feedback. For the mid-week stories it's going to be the AI voice for the time being, because of financial and time restraints. Human voice actors aren't cheap, and this is the only way I can really do a constant stream of these. I am working to improve the voice though, and might try some different ones going forward too.

R rated is about where I'm at. It's on par with The Walking Dead in terms of gore and violence.

The narrator really captures the essence of female characters. Sounds like Mrs. Dr. Girlfriend from the venture bros. So hot!
