You kind of need both. RUclips gives breadth of knowledge but it does not really provide depth. Nothing can substitute doing things yourself and doing the work yourself.

Great video... but I'd argue DEFI is actually still just as expensive as CEFI for now. By the time you've paid to buy crypto, exchange coins, send coins and then withdraw back into fiat... the fees are pretty heavy.

Hello I have watched alot of Videos trying to understand the new Flair Finance built on the Flair Network ant their Beta network. Most items I have found start right in the middle and dont explain all the basic details the way you seem to. Be nice if you would engage with Flair finance and do some videos. I just watched a couple and they are VERY simple, and help fill in alot of the gaps in an easy to understand way. You seem to have a gift for that,

Defi is not cheap, because most of Defi is based on non-scalable ethereum and when this industry grows, ethereum easily got traffic jam and price per transaction raise to a crazy number far more expensive than Cefi (the thing is with Defi your transaction more frequent than Cefi).

The think I keep not understanding is that in the real world, finance is ultimately linked to goods and services. I do not see the same in DEFI since I do not see any business accepting tokens except of bitcoin. So far it looks like everyone is buying tokens just to exchange them as stamps and then trying to profit on it.

my question is: are platforms like tokensets working as a yield farming platforms or these are something else. i think there must be some companies which help users get more profit from these complicated things in cryptocurrencies. these concepts are that much complicated that makes fears. and less users may attract to these concepts when banks and other normal finance systems are more clear. if we want decentralized finance we need to make some platform that makes profit with less effort and much more easier.
I find myself here as a natural counter movement to the events of wsb vs wallstreet in January 2021. Seeing a centralized abuse of power like that, exposing a closed and corrupt system left me wanting to find out more about DeFi and DEx. They gives me hope for the future. Eye opening events like those will only accelerate the transition. Great video.

My Favourite Defi Project is bns.finance Salient features of BNSD: - Super high APYs - Multiple pools in which you can farm - Extremely Deflationary release overtime - Halving built in. 4 halvings happening where block rewards reduce. - Block rewards start with 1000 rewards per ETH block of BNSD and then reduce based on halving in the following fashion - 1000 - 500 1 day from genesis block - 500 - 250 7 days - 250-125 30 days - 125 - 100 90 days - Just 4% of rewards are reserved for dev funds. This is lowest in comparison across other defi projects like Sushi - Best part 50% of the dev funds are used for buying bns on a periodic basis - Contract is super clean as there is no mint function there except for the block rewards which are happening every block. So there is no risk associated with it. No time lock needed as only BNSChef can mint rewards and those rewards are specific to block
The technology behind email created the internet. Blockchain could have a similar impact in the long run. After all, technology developes at a compounding rate.
DeFi is a really popular subject now but at the same time its often misunderstood as there are extremely high fees for removing liquidity from stacking pool, at least a $100-$1500 thats a lot lol and the APR for stablecoins is too low like 2%. I use offchain operating platform PointPay, they don’t have crazy fees and pretty good APR for USDT (8%). Def much better comparing to compound or Aave
We are using defi's to trade or like to do some activity ok i got it but u said there is no third party involved but in dex's the liquidity can be provided by a person so he is involving in it

it already is! i go to university of san francisco and my comp sci friends have taken 1 or 2 classes in it

You can find detailed recorded lectures from MIT on a bunch of crypto topics.
Us old folks don't have to worry about classes, we get grandfathered in!
