The jeweler is completely wrong, Diana's ring never had yellow gold in it, even when it was originally presented in the garrard's catalogue. It has always been white gold.
I found a purplish blue tanzanite Diana style ring on a backpacking trip around Europe in 2014. Of course I bought it the moment I saw it. I've since worn that ring for years every single day and it's become terribly scratched, but will always hold a very special place in my jewelry box. Hi I had mine bought for me in 1975 it’s a double of Catherine’s , or Princess Diana’s but mine is three quarter the size but I adore mine my wedding band is very narrow but my eternity is a white diamond wishbone , my rings are always admired ! No more than I as I just love mine and yes I too wear mine daily ! My engagement ring and eternity rings are 18 carat my wedding ring is 22 carat !
i know i’m late to responding to this, but she probably does have an engagement ring. but if you are attending a filming of a video like this for the public to see. and you have to interview jewelers and try on different styles for the public to see and understand in case they are interested in purchasing. why would you wear your engagement ring to a jewelry store, knowing you’re going to be trying on replicas of famous engagement rings for the world to see and possibly get their hands on personally?
it just helps with one less thing to worry about! i wouldn’t wear my engagement ring either to something like this. i’d be worried about losing it. because i’ll be focused on the filming of a video for the public. 3:25
