Mbappe off the field seems like the nicest guy the more i watch - all the people that seem to call him arrogant and selfish are people that don't know him, while people that do know him only have more praises to give
Mbappe not being able to pass is a narrative tbh. He always produced a ton of assist but last year Messi had a rough start at PSG and didn't manage to score a lot of goals (which is understandable since it's a whole new club and a whole new championship), but people trying to overprotect him immediately said it was because Neymar and Mbappe weren't giving him enough balls which wasn't especially true. Mbappe was the one carrying the team and some people didn't like that so they started saying he was selfish
And the same argument continues when he passes the ball to his teammates it’s just a waist of time for example their game with Milan was ass mbappe kept passing the ball to denmbele just for him to missed so many opportunities ☠️

I do agree that Mbappe’s real skills are a bit underrated and it’s only his speed that’s appreciated. But at the same time, he does incorporate speed in lots of the skills he does so he can speed past them while still dribbling.
The problem with Psg is their defence and midfield especially their midfield all those players Vitinha Fabian Ruiz Carlos Soler they lack creativity people like Messi&Neymar have to drop back themselves in the midfield and create chances all by themselves

Mbappe is League above haaland in terms of skill . Haaland is pure Goalscorer. He is Great player yes but You need teams like Man City to feed Him ball. Haaland doesnt do anything else. Thats why When moments of pressure come like WC final i think Mbappe is more suitable than Haaland to score at that moment with individual talent. After Messi my fav player in current gen is Mbappe . Unfortunately He is wasting his time in PSG. Everybody blame the front 3 of PSG MNM for any loss which is totally stupid. No, speed is not the most useful skill in football, their are plenty of very slow player like Ibrahimovic, Toni Kroos, Luca modric and co. Who are world class players without any speed. I personally know a player who is running under 11 seconds in 100 Meters but is playing amateur level, because he don’t have the necessary skill, but if you have skills like Modric you will always play professional, no matter how fast you are.

Mbappe was selfish for a while during Messi's 1st season but this season Messi and Mbappe's chemistry r at the peak and they play better in Neymar's absence. Its the truth as much as it hurts

Mbappe made tons of assists for Messi last season. He gave two of his penalties to Messi as well. He literally assisted Messi more than Neymar did.
Mbappe made the most assists in Ligue 1 last season. This season, however, he gets moved from left wing to central forward a lot, which is not the most comfortable position for him. His assist stats drop a bit cuz he can't cross as much. Still, he has much more assists than other first-class "strikers." (You could check Haaland's assist stats for example.)

@@ly8078 I've watched every match live...Mbappe didn't give his penalties to Messi becoz as of last season PSG didn't have a fixed penalty taker, It was Neymar who took the most penalties before this season. And Mbappe assisted Messi 5 times, Neymar was injured for most of the matches, how could u expect him to assist Messi while not even starting. Messi even shouted on field for getting pass. Most of the times Mbappe took the shot and missed instead of passing the ball to Messi when Messi was in a far better place to shoot. Messi on the other hand is providing assists day in day out to Mbappe. Haaland can't be compared to Mbappe. Haaland is pure no. 9 but Mbappe isn't a striker, he plays as a winger and sometimes as a CF. And a winger or CF must have more assists. Remember Messi during his CF days back in 2011 to 2015. He literally had most assists every season. Even provided most assists in a single season in football history back in 2011.

He had 26 assists last season, whereas Haaland had 8, Vinicius 20 (winger), Salah 16 (winger), Lewandowski 9, Benzema 15. How exactly is Mbappe selfish, or are you saying anyone who has not assisted as many as Messi once did is selfish?

@@ly8078 Mbappe didn't pass Messi when Messi was in clearly better position not once or twice but multiple times. Hakimi, Mbappe, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes rarely pass the ball to Messi near the box. Messi near that box is the most fatal player as he can dribble past tight spaces and score or shoot from long range. His vision is unique so Galtier is using him as a supplier. Mbappe was selfish and everyone knows that. Messi was shouting for the ball last season against Marseille and yet Mbappe ignored him and missed a clear goalscoring chance. Mbappe this season is a perfect teammate but last season he was being egoistic, Neymar and Verratti were the only ones to pass Messi. But now this season the chemistry between Messi and Mbappe is really great. And in PSG There's no striker, they play Messi as a False 9 in 4-3-3 formation. But Messi drops deep and plays in the midfield since PSG have zero creative midfielder. Messi last season have hit the bar 13 times I agree on that but go and check out how many of those passes were from Mbappe.
