Hi There. I´m a greyhaired metalhead with just a little bit shorter beard. I am very jealous, you have just discovered this FANTASTIC band and just now going throw all of this fantastic emotions i did about 3 years ago. I love this band and have a daily fix of a couple songs. They are making my life brighter and moore joyfull. Welcome to the wolfpack. Love from Sweden
An absolute gem of a song showing their wide range of skills including Asami's ballet background. I too find it hard to comprehend why they aren't worldwide stars and why some folk would turn away from their musical genius just because they don't fit the stereotype. For me LOVEBITES are the best, plain and simple.
Stereo types are for ignorant assholes especially nowadays, especially when you see and hear greatness. These ladies are the future of metal weather the a- holes like it or not.🤘🤘🤘👍🐺🐺
Great reaction bro. Welcome to the club. I am a 49 year old metalhead and this brilliant band is one of the best metal bands in the history of heavy metal music. Keep listening, keep reacting. Watch some of the latest live in 2023.
Miho, the bassist in the video, retired in 2021 - she is, along with Haruna (drums), the founder of Lovebites - Miho was and is an absolutely fantastic bassist. I can subscribe to what you said in the last few minutes of your video with a clear conscience - I completely agree with that! It's criminal that this band isn't yet the big thunder in the power metal world, but their band name is being heard more and more internationally. These women breathe, feel, work music and make everything seem so easy - I am still grateful to this day that I was able to see them live for the first time in Wacken/Germany and that was when it happened to me - this band is incredibly fantastic!
Two years ago, I went through a near death experience and spent several weeks in the hospital, where I thought I was done for. Three musical groups became my lifeline, and may literally have saved my life. Lovebites were one of them, and this song, more than any other, kept me going. Thank you for checking this out. Ok, subscribing.
I hope you're doing better now! And I feel the same way with Eminem. His music pulled me out of some tough times as well. It's amazing how music can help with struggles in life! I appreciate you and wish you the best! Thank you for watching! ❤️🫡🤘🔥
LOVEBITES will come to US on September 2024 for Prog Power festival live..... LOVEBITES new songs live 2023 Judgement Day(MV/Live crazy dual solos), Stand And Deliver(MV), The Hammer Of Wrath, Nameless Warrior, Liar, Set The World On Fire(crazy dual solos), When Destinies Align(crazy dual solos), Shadow Maker(crazy dual solos), Scream For Me(dual guitars battle solos), check their new bassist Fami channel and watch her do bass cover Alian Alien(viewed 10M++)
This performance blows my away no matter how many times I watch it. The best of the best. And to think that, if I remember correctly, Miyako is five months pregnant at this concert. You have many many more incredible performances ahead, enjoy!
The guitar duo is not competing each other. It is opposite. They are cooperative to each other. They practice together and call each other "Aikata" means partner. They actually aren't competitive in the position because their each style is so different, hence they are comlementary. You can enjoy such a beautiful bass line of Miho in this performance. Miho is the spirit of bass.
Miho was the bassist in this video. Together with Haruna (the drummer), she was the co-founder of Lovebites back in 2016. Unfortunately, she was also the one band member who left not long after this concert you've just watched (2021). The band then went into hiatus straight after for just over a year. During that relatively dormant period, they went through an exhaustive audition process and found Fami, their amazing new bassist. I believe all the videos you have reacted to so far only have Miho as the bassist. Here's a relatively new thrash clip with the new bassist - "The Hammer of Wrath" LIVE : ruclips.net/video/pHrWRT0Jeac/видео.html . BTW, if you want to have an idea of how talented the new bassist, Fami, is, check out this video of her when she was still only 17 years old : ruclips.net/video/Q_UqztwYAOU/видео.html
With Miyako being 5 months pregnant here she was going to have an enforced (By Japanese Laws) 6 months maternity leave anyway so another 3 months after wasn't long considering she did write all and record all the music including playing hers and the bass parts for the new album during that time. So not much lost i think myself. They would've taken a break anyway after a tour i believe.
The fact that YOU just found this band... is a big reason why Lovebites isn't already playing big venues around the world. They are certainly ready for it, but c0v1d slowed them down a bit. You can't be rich and famous if you don't tour the world. Lovebites has been operating out of Japan for the past several years. If it wasn't for the internet, most of us would not even know they exist. So here we are. We support them as much as we can, and hopefully they will be able to play shows in other countries next year. They already have a few gigs lined-up, but they need to do more. A lot more. We are all watching to see how far this whole thing goes.
I’m about to watch, but saw your intro. Never apologise for pausing a video (except in the middle of a guitar or vocal solo. And if you do, just rewind 10 seconds or so. It’s a reaction….thats the point)! Now, to the reaction. More soon! Ok, now I’ve seen the reaction. Point by point. 1. The bassist in this video is Miho, one of two founding members along with Haruna the drummer. 2. The angelic vocalist is Asami. She was noticed by Miho who saw the potential of her RnB background and voice. 3. Guitarist stage right is Midori…she studied guitar from the age of 20 and is technically flawless. 4. Guitarist stage left is Miyako. She’s the soulful one. Classically trained on piano since the age of three and initially self taught on guitar from age 18. The band’s principal composer who arranges her own compositions, although this piece was composed by Asami, who can play piano, and arranged by the “6th member” Mao Yamamoto, those two forming the second prong of the twin compositional attack. 5. New bassist Fami you have yet to meet. She has her own RUclips channel with 650,000 subscribers and I strongly recommend you check out her cover of Alien Alien before then checking out “Hammer of Wrath”, her first live song in her first live show in the band. 6. There is a kind of friendly competition between Miyako and Midori, mostly because I think Miyako is a perfectionist and didn’t want to be considered the slower guitarist (she said as much, light heartedly) 7. Unfortunately Lovebites will never become household names for a couple of reasons. Firstly, they will not bend…meaning they play hard and heavy (more so in the latest album Judgement Day) which makes them a niche within a niche. The other reason follows from the first…people my age (64) dominate their fan base. We ain’t getting any younger. You can also add prejudice to that. Also (Mr unpopular time) even reaction channels that have gushed about the band for a month or two suddenly dry up when not even a third of the way through their catalogue. Then, after a huge gap, they come back and tell us they miss the band and forgotten how good they were. My answer to that is simple and obvious…so I won’t say it. And finally….if you love the band, learn their names. Not optional!🙂 ruclips.net/video/pHrWRT0Jeac/видео.htmlsi=fBpbSengnQzR0nkN (Hammer of Wrath) ruclips.net/video/Q_UqztwYAOU/видео.htmlsi=-2ZV5a3ldqTC0rqZ (Alien Alien)
Congrats man, for me, You have discovered the brightest jewel of their live performances. A Frozen Serenade shows almost everything they are able to do on stage, pure magic. Greetings mate 🙂
Because Electric Pentagram came out in winter, Asami wanted a sad winter ballad. Asami knew she wanted acoustic guitar on the track. The acoustic guitar is played by Miyako on the recording, but Live, Midori has to play it because Miyako is busy on the piano. Lyrics: Asami Music: Asami and Mao Arrangement: Mao/Lovebites
Thank you very much for your good summaries and great reactions of Lovebites. I recommend you to watch BURDEN OF TIME [Live from the Abyss], where you can see Miyako playing the organ with her right hand and the guitar with her left - at the same time! She is the best musician I have seen and the creative force in the band. BUT; all of the members are world class. What a band!
This was from the last tour with the original bassist Miho. Miho left the band a few months after that show. Miho and Haruna the drummer founded the band in 2016. Both already have played together in a band called Destrose until 2015.
Lovebites are amazing. This song pure art at its finest. Asami’s vocals are phenomenal but so are her lyrics. Even more impressive considering that English is not her native language. The talent in band is astounding. This is the founding bassist Miho. She’s a fantastic bassist and wrote some killer songs. The new bassist Fami is a virtuoso from another galaxy. She’s a supernova of talent and energy emanating joy and happiness to everyone. An absolute delight
Hey, this is your channel. If you want to pause the video to say something, you go right ahead. We expect pauses as this is a reaction channel. Just be true to yourself. We are here for the ride. Rock on!
It was Miho's "idea" that formed the band, choosing the other members beginning with Haruna. She composed 1/3 of LOVEBITES songs during her tenure, all her song's lyrics, & music with Mao. These songs, from rock to heavy metal to thrash, are all excellent & many still chosen for performances. 2 of the 3 songs chosen for bassist auditions are Miho's songs, "The Hammer Of Wrath" & "Golden Destination". Fami's LIVE concert debut began with "The Hammer Of Wrath" which features bass in 3 segments, all played same notes as written by Miho. Miho was also "band leader" to international award-winning recognition & international touring the biggest Metal Festivals in Europe to a 'peak' of 11 shows in UK in 13 DAYS! 2019 w/DragonForce An impressive accomplishment, touring in a van, 6000 miles from home. The unexpected death of Miho's father (a paramedic), c0v!d f!@sco ending touring, plus practice & social restrictions, band-mates marrying & having children (Miyako & Asami) all contributed to her "withdrawal" from LOVEBITES ... I am eternally indebted to Miho for bringing her "idea" to fruition that enhances my daily life. 💜 🐺 dreg👁
Quite literally the greatest band I have ever seen in my life. They're too good to b true. It really is a shame that they aren't known the world over, I agree with you. Words cannot describe how much I love them. Hopefully they're touring next year and a lot more people get to discover them.
The M&M duo don't compete with each other. They are the best of friends. They have 'conversations' with their guitars. The best example is 'Scream For Me'. One of my favorites. Two solo's each, during the main part of the song, & then 5 each at the end in 'conversation' mode. 14 solo's in one song. All underpinned with some brilliant rolling bass & drum patterns. ruclips.net/video/acwkphgzNg8/видео.html And bear in mind that in this concert, Miyako was about 4 months pregnant. Baby Bump was rockin' out behind that guitar.
Enjoyed the reaction. As a guitarist myself, I've followed Midori and Miyako on Twitter for a long time. They get together at each other's houses outside of band rehearsal and practice together for hours. That's what it takes to have the perfect synchronicity they have.
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics: Crystal tears Falling from the skies Veiling fears The emptiness inside Time is just passing by Killing me under the soft twilight A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade One life ends And one life begins Evanesce To our origins When I'm lost on my way Lead my heart and guide me with your grace A frozen melody Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy A distant memory If only this snow could erase the pain I'd wake up in a serenade Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away All living things are precious and irreplaceable Just like a dream, just like a bird I'll keep on singing out Even if my voice cannot reach you White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky If only I could wish to see you once more ----- lyrics: asami music: asami & Mao arrangement: LOVEBITES (miho, haruna, midori, miyako, asami) & Mao album: Electric Pentagram 01/29/2020
M & M are like Yin and Yang. Friendy competition? Well, playing together, they definitely make each other better. But as LOVEBITES as a whole, they deliver a cohesive sum of parts. That makes their harmonics so great. They also support each others solos, if you listen carefully (like also the bassist does). No place for a battle here! Midori seemed to be a little bit more technical and faster, and Miyako more melodic and Gary-Moore-isch, but they can do both. Fire and Ice together on stage...
Apart from their music, Miyako and Miho were the magnets that took me further to get to know this band better when I first saw this band. Of course they are all good but I have a favorite. Miho is very good in everything, her talent and also her metal performance and soul on stage. The way she carries the bass in a very low position and her banging style makes me like her. For metal style she is the best. Of course Fami is also good at her skills and playing, but she doesn't have a metal soul, at least for now because before joining Lovebites she never even played metal music.
It was Miho's "idea" that formed the band, choosing the other members beginning with Haruna. She composed 1/3 of LOVEBITES songs during her tenure, all her song's lyrics, & music with Mao. Miho was also "band leader" to international award-winning recognition & international touring to a 'peak' of 11 shows in UK in 13 DAYS! (with DragonForce) An impressive accomplishment, touring in a van, 6000 miles from home. I am eternally indebted to Miho for bringing her "idea" to fruition that enhances my daily life. 💜 🐺 dreg👁

Midori and Miyako are almost joined at the hip. It’s been reported that they spend countless hours together honing their guitar duets outside of regularly scheduled Lovebites jam and practice sessions, and it shows. One more note, everything from 2023 forward is with Fami, the new bassist who replaced Miho, another awesome bassist.😊
Miho (on display here) was the former bassist (2016 - August 2021). Since October 2022, the new bassist is Fami, 21 year old prodigy with an own RUclips channel...
How much more metal can you get to play the piano with a guitar strapped to your back and when done immediately start shredding. Midori on the acoustic is fabulous.. Mesmerizing. Seriously is one of those bands when it's difficult to pick a fav..the way it should be. Never was drawn to ballads, but Lovebites changed my mind.
This band is one of the the biggest musical discoveries of the past twenty years for me, I wish I knew them earlier... They are absolutely mind-blowing! (the other one is Hanabie, yeah!)
M&M are indeed special, but that's only a part, not even half, of what sets LOVEBITES apart and above other bands. It's their unique allure and positive aura, the excellent song crafting, overall live performance capabilities, led by the ultimate stage general Asami.
i guess you need to check their old stuff...so many amazing hidden gems that not comes up too often...mastermind01, dystopia symphony, M.D.O....many more these ladies are not from this planet..i guess total BADASS HAIL LOVEBITES 🤘
you are right, Rosana Miho is the founding member of Lovebites. After departure the new basist is absolutely insaine, mad skills. This song is the showcase of the rhythm section - Miho's bass is just phenomenal alongside Haruna's drumming.
These ladies are definitely at the top of the list for newer bands. Gaining popularity, especially in the West will be difficult due to the low popularity of rock/metal music in general. If this type of music was more mainstream, they would easily break through to Western markets. DragonForce level guitarist, Iron Maiden level rhythm section and a Flor Jansen level singer. What’s not to love! What I find extremely attractive about not only Lovebites, but several other all-female Japanese rock and metal bands is that the maintain their femininity while killing it musically. They aren’t trying to be or compete with the men. They are doing their own thing. And let’s be honest, they are easier on the eyes than a bunch of hairy, sweaty men. Being smoking hot and sexy does not hurt their appeal. I would love to see them spend more time touring in Western markets, but that most likely won’t happen, as two members have small children and three of them are married. Having family makes it tough to for them to spend much time outside of Japan.
There was an article a few years back about Miyako and Midori on how they are able to get their guitar solos and harmonizing done perfect. When they were on the road, they roomed together and would work on their solos and harmonizing play. At the same time they would work together on how each one would would do solos for future songs. When they to a year and a half off, Miyako went to Midori to learn to play the guitar faster. So, I don't think there is competition but maybe ways to push the other to become better which makes both of them better at the same time.
M&M, no competition at all. Midori is trained, Miyako is selftaught (more or less) and during the hiatus, Myk worked on her speed and 4-finger-tapping and I think their latest release shows that they are on equal terms technically. But they have 2 distinct styles and sounds which also means that the won't "trespass" into each others "territory". They are a perfect symbiosis for theLovebites sound. It would be near impossible to replace any.
Been a fan since 2017 and Midori and Miyako practice together away from the band. Polar opposites yet meld together perfectly. No competition just the push for relentless perfection like the other band members. Each has their own strengths and have influenced each other, Miyako has become much faster on the guitar thanks to Midori, and Midori plays more emotional, the acoustic here LIVE as an example.
Regarding the talents of the two lead guitarists of LOVEBITES... Actually, the problem is simple. You may be seeing two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, but that is an illusion. Actually, this band only has one guitarist named [Midori & Miyako]. ---------- from Nippon *This is a text using Google Translate. I hope I conveyed my intentions correctly.
The absurd amount of talent these ladies have as individuals is crazy in itself, and to have them all together in one band just defies logic, there is a lot of great bands out there but none at the level of lovebites, I think if someone dismisses them because they are female it's their loss, and shows ignorance. Awesome reaction, enjoy the rest of the journey, Remember Once bitten forever smitten 🤘🎤🥁🎹🎸🐺
most of us are watching because we want to hear your input. so pausing is the only way to remember what you were going to say without taking notes and saving them till the end of the song. especially for us older guys whose memory is not what it used to be ! the only time not to stop is during solos or asami's sustained high notes. other than that every other time is fair game. the idea of watching a reaction is to get one and they can always watch the song non stop later on if they want to.
They dont need any competition in the band, otherwise they couldnt be that good. Lovebites is a band you find once in 20 or 30 years who got a chemical binding, which makes it possible to play such complicated stuff. I think after they play in the USA in 2024 they will start off and will be known worldwide much more.
Any videos of LOVEBITES from 2017 to 2021 the bassist will be Miho and from 2023 on is Fami, and I second the suggestion of their song Scream for me live 2019 it’s the best guitar battle I have ever seen. And as for the reason why they where white and not black is because in Japan there are actual stone statues of of white wolves that villages built in honour of the wolf god “Japanese White Wolf” The white wolf was revered by many people as a protector of villagers and their livelihood from evil by keeping their traditions safe and pure hence why LOVEBITES wears the white dresses because they are the protectors (white wolves) of Heavy Metal by playing the style of metal that started the whole genre in the first place and it explains the fact that we fans are called the wolf pack their soldiers who help spread their music and message to the world and why on all LOVEBITES albums there’s a wolf on the covers…and as for their critics and haters they are all just jealous of their success, yes these ladies have it harder than their male counterparts but LOVEBITES puts in the work writing recording and selling out their concerts by performing in front of thousands of people
There’s nothing wrong with pausing to talk about want you want to say. It’s 100% better than talking over the video. If people want to hear it uninterrupted they can go and watch the original vid, which we should all do anyway to support the band. Happy to see you did a rewind after you paused. The bassist here is the original one, Miho. She and Haruna, the drummer, played in another group and they formed Lovebites. Miho is the one that left and the new bassist is Fami. She’s the one who slaps bass and has her own solo channel. This song is one of my favourite 3 songs. It’s a freaking masterpiece!
I did read a little more into them. Also, I'm desperately trying to learn and remember their names! Haha. And I appreciate your comment. Thank you so much for watching! 🤘🔥🎸🫡🙏
There is no match between Miyako and Midori. They both play perfectly, just in a slightly different style, so they complement each other perfectly. They practice a lot together and learn from each other, so they're developing to higher and higher levels, if there are any. By the way, at this concert Miyako was about 4-5 months pregnant and yet she got up from the piano and switched to guitar in no time. If you listened carefully during Midori's solo, she played guitar with a rhythm that could stand as a separate song.
This is a song about the nuclear winter, the 4° after the trilogy about the II WW: 1-Above the black sea (Kamikaze) 2-Under the red sky and 3° Apocalypse. Thank You.
Dude, you're the reason why I watch these reactions. Especially to LOVEBITES. You should not have to apologize for anything. Remember, these are your reactions. Not ours. that's why I watch reactions. yers are SIC AND LEGIT. They never let up, always something new. The riffs are a much needed groove. I'm a 300lb 1%'r these songs turn me into a bubbling mess.. it's not pretty. Dggn yer jam and reaction. When I make a request, it comes with the link and the appropriate pauses time as best as possible. It helps reactors immensely. Just a hint from your uncle POLSKI..🐺🐺
I am sure there is no competition between Miyako and Midori. They are two very different personalities who respect each other. Also, when they play together, they don't play "the same", they play two different voices (mostly a fifth/quint apart) which makes their tone so full. You are abolutely right about the "criminal". Lovebites should fill stadiums. On the other hand, it is nice to belong to the few blessed who know them.
Does your right leg compete with your left leg? Or your right arm with the left arm? Midori and Miyako are from the body of Lovebites and are equals. No competition.
Why aren't they better known? Well, for one this style of metal is out of fashion. The core of the fanbase is male metalheads 40+ who listened to this kind of music in their youth. They have shifted a bit more to power metal in their latest releases, which is a good thing to do IMO because that style of metal is still vibrant and has some younger listeners (often gamers). I don't think the way they dress or that they are women scares off anyone today--we have seen practically anything--, so personally I don't think it's sexism that's holding them back. It's just that classic metal is a minority interest today and, crucially, doesn't get a lot of exposure or airplay on mainstream media. I have also heard some reactors, mainly American ones, complain that they can't understand what Asami is singing. For me as a German it's not a problem because I'm used to listening to English lyrics I can't understand at first hearing, but I do get that hearing your own language being sung with a heavy accent can be distracting. But that is something that they can fix long-term; the problem right now is the lack of exposure in a world that shrugs off this music as dad rock. Also their very financially cautious label management hasn't exactly helped in promoting them outside of Japan; hopefully with at least two festival gigs in 2024 (in Atlanta and in Spain) that is starting to change. (Their RUclips activity has definitely increased, perhaps the management has changed, or they have pressured it a bit?)
I completely agree with you. I went to a LOVEBITES concert in September, and 90% of the audience were men between the ages of 50 and 70, usually with thin or gray hair, and wearing black T-shirts. The group looked very strange in the city. And of course I was one of them.
No matter which song I listen to, it's a masterpiece, a masterpiece, another masterpiece...
Where is a boring Lovebites song?
This is one of very few masterpieces in Pop culture music.
No, there is no competition between Midori and Miyako! They complement each other perfectly.
Miyako can write guitar lines beyond her technical safe zone, but Midori so far always could play them with a big grin on her face ;-)
Midori & Miyako don't just play "solos", they play perfect "duos".
Lovebites is one of the best band in history of music regardless the genre. They play in their own league.
Absolutely. They are a singularity.
OMG...Asamis dance makes this SO special. Every time I almost cry when watching it...
An absolute gem of a song showing their wide range of skills including Asami's ballet background. I too find it hard to comprehend why they aren't worldwide stars and why some folk would turn away from their musical genius just because they don't fit the stereotype. @@christopherturner6989 How can anyone insult other people and at the same time claim to be a Lovebites Wolf. Lovebites invite us to mind our manners.
Lovebites is a band as good as any metal band who has ever existed - I truly believe that.
they do have drummer and her name is HARUNA!!!!!!
Great reaction bro. Welcome to the club. I am a 49 year old metalhead and this brilliant band is one of the best metal bands in the history of heavy metal music. Keep listening, keep reacting. Watch some of the latest live in 2023.
Masterpiece, other level of musicians, Lovebites Amazing metal band.
Miyako does it all while several months pregnant... that child will be crazy talented.
Miho, the bassist in the video, retired in 2021 - she is, along with Haruna (drums), the founder of Lovebites - Miho was and is an absolutely fantastic bassist.

Masterpiece!!!! One of the best Metal songs I ever heard!
Both M+M got special touch. They practise and sharing knowledge with whole member and produce masterpiece. No contest.
LOVEBITES will come to US on September 2024 for Prog Power festival live.....

This song is a masterpiece
This performance blows my away no matter how many times I watch it. The best of the best. And to think that, if I remember correctly, Miyako is five months pregnant at this concert. You have many many more incredible performances ahead, enjoy!

LOVEBITES don’t play thrash, they play “Heavy Metaaaaaaaaaal”.
Next Lovebites song to react to "The Hammer of Wrath" or "Judgement Day" which feature their new bass player Fami (rhymes with Mommy).
You really pick all their emotional and beautiful songs at the same time..... 😉
Keep the Lovebites reactions coming.
For me they are the top heavy metal band and The Warning the top hard rock band right now.
They're helping get me through a very tough time. Amazing band.
I'm glad they helping! Thank you so much for watching! 😊 you take care of you! 🫡👍🤘
Same with me. Lucky us. I am also deeply grateful towards Nemophila. 🥲
Midori and Miyako the best twin guitars of the
world, Midori and Miyako the most skilled and the most beautiful! 😍🤘🐺
This is a reality.that it a true.
Agreed! 🫡
MASTERPIECE.
6. There is a kind of friendly competition between Miyako and Midori, mostly because I think Miyako is a perfectionist and didn’t want to be considered the slower guitarist (she said as much, light heartedly)
Not optional!🙂

I appreciate the feedback and knowledge of these amazing ladies! Thank you for watching! 🫡
Congrats man, for me, You have discovered the brightest jewel of their live performances. A Frozen Serenade shows almost everything they are able to do on stage, pure magic. Greetings mate 🙂
👏 Perfect words, thank you.
Because Electric Pentagram came out in winter, Asami wanted a sad winter ballad. Asami knew she wanted acoustic guitar on the track. The acoustic guitar is played by Miyako on the recording, but Live, Midori has to play it because Miyako is busy on the piano.
Lyrics: Asami
Music: Asami and Mao
Arrangement: Mao/Lovebites
Thank you very much for your good summaries and great reactions of Lovebites.
I recommend you to watch BURDEN OF TIME [Live from the Abyss], where you can see Miyako playing the organ with her right hand and the guitar with her left - at the same time!
She is the best musician I have seen and the creative force in the band. BUT; all of the members are world class. What a band!
This was from the last tour with the original bassist Miho. Miho left the band a few months after that show. Miho and Haruna the drummer founded the band in 2016. Both already have played together in a band called Destrose until 2015.
Miyako, Midori, Asami, Miho (now Fami) and Haruna ...long live Lovebites !
Yes this is the original bassist. Trust me (sorry hard core fans) the new bassist Fami is a step up - she’s excellent!
What you seem to forget is when Miho left, they lost an outstanding Metal songwriter. Maybe Fami can fill that hole in the future, we'll have to see.
Now it's time to hear a song with the new incredible bass player Fami 😉
Beautifully executed 🐺
Hey, this is your channel. If you want to pause the video to say something, you go right ahead. We expect pauses as this is a reaction channel. Just be true to yourself. We are here for the ride. Rock on!
Thank you. I truly appreciate that! Thank you for watching 🤘🫡
2 of the 3 songs chosen for bassist auditions are Miho's songs,
"The Hammer Of Wrath" & "Golden Destination".
Fami's LIVE concert debut began with "The Hammer Of Wrath" which features bass in 3 segments,
all played same notes as written by Miho.
Miho was also "band leader" to international award-winning recognition & international touring the biggest Metal Festivals in Europe to a 'peak' of 11 shows in UK in 13 DAYS! 2019 w/DragonForce
An impressive accomplishment, touring in a van, 6000 miles from home.
The unexpected death of Miho's father (a paramedic),
c0v!d f!@sco ending touring, plus practice & social restrictions,
band-mates marrying & having children (Miyako & Asami)
all contributed to her "withdrawal" from LOVEBITES ...
I am eternally indebted to Miho for bringing her "idea" to fruition that enhances my daily life.
💜 🐺 dreg👁
and, I am grateful for Fami's presence & contributions facilitating their "Resurrection" !!
Quite literally the greatest band I have ever seen in my life. They're too good to b true. It really is a shame that they aren't known the world over, I agree with you. Words cannot describe how much I love them. Hopefully they're touring next year and a lot more people get to discover them.
when Midori grabs those high notes in her outro solo - chills every time...
All underpinned with some brilliant rolling bass & drum patterns.
ruclips.net/video/acwkphgzNg8/видео.html
And bear in mind that in this concert, Miyako was about 4 months pregnant.
LOVEBITES - A Frozen Serenade lyrics:
Crystal tears Falling from the skies
Veiling fears The emptiness inside
Time is just passing by
Killing me under the soft twilight
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
One life ends
And one life begins
Evanesce
To our origins
When I'm lost on my way
Lead my heart and guide me with your grace
A frozen melody
Of doves and ravens dancing in melancholy
A distant memory
If only this snow could erase the pain
I'd wake up in a serenade
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
Seasons may pass, but its beauty will never fade away
All living things are precious and irreplaceable
Just like a dream, just like a bird
I'll keep on singing out
Even if my voice cannot reach you
White butterflies are fluttering under the silver sky
If only I could wish to see you once more

lyrics: asami

As a side note look at Miyako (Black hair guitarist) note how big she is. She was about 5 month's pregnant. And still killing those riffs
Bud you are a reactor. I love you adding to the video. I want to know your thoughts. Ignore those that complain
I appreciate that. 🫡
Miyako and Midori have played together aside the band for hundreds of hours to become the dual lead they are …
this song proof how musically genius they are, same for me Lovebites is not a Female Heavy Metal band..they are Heavy Metal Band
I agree. 😄
this song is so good it could fit as a 007 james bond titelsong
It'd be Glory to the World for me. Listen again the the intro to it and you'll hear the Bond sound building up.
Yeah bollocks to gender Lovebites are bloody Incredible. My 2 daughters love Midori/Miyako. 🐺🤘🏴
Their masterpiece !! 🤘🔥🔥🔥🐺🇿🇦🤘
This band is one of the the biggest musical discoveries of the past twenty years for me, I wish I knew them earlier... They are absolutely mind-blowing! (the other one is Hanabie, yeah!)
I think in order to be this tight it has to be total collaboration.
you can always rewind a little
M&M are indeed special, but that's only a part, not even half, of what sets LOVEBITES apart and above other bands. It's their unique allure and positive aura, the excellent song crafting, overall live performance capabilities, led by the ultimate stage general Asami.
Yes you are right, miho was one of the founding members of lovebites and haruna the drummer
i guess you need to check their old stuff...so many amazing hidden gems that not comes up too often...mastermind01, dystopia symphony, M.D.O....many more
these ladies are not from this planet..i guess
total BADASS
HAIL LOVEBITES 🤘
you are right, Rosana Miho is the founding member of Lovebites. After departure the new basist is absolutely insaine, mad skills. This song is the showcase of the rhythm section - Miho's bass is just phenomenal alongside Haruna's drumming.
learn their names please great reaction have a nice day
please listen to lovebites-spellbound- I think this will remind us of the 80-90's metal atmosphere, especially with the band EUROPE
No competition, both Myiako and Midori are masters but in different ways. I love both of them, I love all these talented ladies.
Someone call an ambulance, this man has been bitten hard. ;)
🤣
🔥LOVEBITES🐺MASTERCLASS🔥
Whats ever it was..paused in Lovebites solos is A SINS😁
The best metal band I've ever heard .. better than Metallica
🤘🏽LOVEBITES RULES🤘🏽
Regarding the talents of the two lead guitarists of LOVEBITES...
Actually, the problem is simple. You may be seeing two guitarists, Midori and Miyako, but that is an illusion. Actually, this band only has one guitarist named [Midori & Miyako].

*This is a text using Google Translate.
And Iv'e been bitten! Haha. 😅🐺🤘🎸
Wolfpack here visiting your channel.
most of us are watching because we want to hear your input. so pausing is the only way to remember what you were going to say without taking notes and saving them till the end of the song. especially for us older guys whose memory is not what it used to be ! the only time not to stop is during solos or asami's sustained high notes. other than that every other time is fair game. the idea of watching a reaction is to get one and they can always watch the song non stop later on if they want to.
Haha. That's true! My mind after listening to them is completely melted in a good way after reacting, so get it out now is probably the best for me! 🤣
They dont need any competition in the band, otherwise they couldnt be that good. Lovebites is a band you find once in 20 or 30 years who got a chemical binding, which makes it possible to play such complicated stuff.
I think after they play in the USA in 2024 they will start off and will be known worldwide much more.
and you keep hold your heart beat 😉 don't blow your heart sir 😁👍
Beautiful masterpiece!
I also recommend Eagle fly free(Helloween's cover) and Painkiller
(Judas Priest cover)
fenomenal!!
Thank You.
the new bassist plays a 5 string
And a 4 string
Haha. I appreciate that, and thank you so much for the support and feedback. I'm gonna do my best not to pause as much as I have! 🤘🔥🫡
good🎉
Any video created after October 2022 has Fami in it.😏♥️🎙🎸🎹🥁😎🤘 As for being women.....I don't know what's cooler or hotter than women rocking out !! 😮
Yes! Like "Nemophila", and "The Iron Maidens". 😄🤘
Miyako (guitarist on the right with the blue and white guitar) was pregnant during this performance. Heavy metal baby!
Please do Judgment day, and Soldier stands solitarily
