Jones has no foundational technique and relied mostly on his speed, reaction time and power in his prime which is why he quickly became average after his 50th fight.

Jones didn't act like he wanted to be there for a single moment of the entire fight. He would just st punch and hold, he may have been worried about getting hurt honestly. Even tho mike is in his 50s, he still has insane power and that quick twitchy explosion he would always throw his punches with. You can see a steeper decline in Jones punching.

Mike was doing stuff in this fight that was absent since 1988. Ok he was 54 here but he was exercising the technique that made him great more in this fight than he did from Bruno 1 to McBride where pretty much he was just going through the motions.
To call it for what it was, it was an exhibition, so a decent level of sparring between two of the all time greats. Mike stayed pretty much away from Roys head which showed a lot of respect for a smaller man. Neither guy was trying to badly hurt the other so when you look at it from that stand point, it was great to see them both back in the ring getting a work out.
To all the younger fans that didnt see Tyson and Roy at their peak years go watch Mike from 85-88 and Roy from 93-2000. Those are the years that show how great these two were at their best.❤

He was the same. The difference is here he was fighting a boxer of his age and with Jake Paul he was fighting a boxer 30 years younger. I don't know what people expected from Tyson Vs Paul, really. Do you really wanna believe a retired boxer that is almost at his 60s will be able to knock out a 27 year-old heavyweight boxer in his prime? You are delusional. If Mike was in his prime Jake Paul would have been knock out before the first round ended, but that didn't happen, because Mike Tyson is no longer 30. Sorry, but it's that simple.
