Albion is a great game if you don't mind your gaming experience being like the real world. This game is brutal. Outside of the protected zones it is a wasteland of ganking, guild empires, and faction zergs. You can, if you know the tricks, explore the whole world and bring back some pretty damn good loot. However, if you let your guard down for a minute in the non-safe zones- you're dead. This game can be really fun, and progression system is very skill-use based like Runescape. Expect to die, don't wear anything you aren't prepared to lose, and find your own niche in the world. Otherwise just crawl into a ball and wail about all the shit you lost.
@William these sorts of MMOs are rarer and rarer to find these days... the WoW gaming culture "won". I enjoy actually meaningful loss which Force calls "hardcore PvP" (I hate that term because you don't have to be a "hardcore" gamer to enjoy it) because it means you have meaningful social interactions in your MMO instead of standing in line like at a Disneyworld theme park where who cares if you got the highest level gear for min/max grinding a PvE raid by riding the ride most often.
Absolutely accurate. Played for a few years but it just became increasingly exhausting as a solo player. You essentially cannot get the best crafting materials in the game without aligning yourself with one of the few major guild empires because the best crafting materials are in the Black Zones, which are all controlled and patrolled by the major guilds. Without being aligned with one there is no retribution protecting you and people literally sit around waiting for solo players to gank and steal everything. The number of times I got ganked carrying 10m or more in mats, gear and mount was too many to count. You think you're the one exception but eventually, you'll get got lool. Anyway all that said incredibly fun game but it is, like you said, brutal.
@Tommy Dahl Albion has the easiest re-progressipn system in form of fames. If you die, at max it takes you 6 hours to be back on track. If you have reserves (which are easy to make) , then you are good to go.
all these PVE players really dont get how this game works. you dying is part of the ecosystem. if no one died, then no one is having to rebuy gear, and no one is buying resources to craft that gear, and no one is buying what you're selling. so even if you die while farming, just know that mechanic is also what keeps you in business.
The best part of albion imho is, it doesnt force you to play all of its content. You just need to pick which content you wanna play and is enjoyable for you, it doesn't punish you and feel you are left out.

There isn't just guild vs guild battles, there are massive alliance vs alliance battles as well. (Alliance being multiple guilds to form an alliance). The point of these battles is for control of outposts, territories and castles which provides that alliance with huge bonuses. These epic battles that happen as a result gets my heart pumpin like crazy and the sheer fun and excitement of it all delivers more than I can get from any other game period. There is a ton of play strategies, build strategies and clever warfare decisions with all of this. Game is a masterpiece and is truly free to play once you get a decent economy going.
Most f2p games work that way, they force you to invest time or money. Usually the former is a far greater investment than the latter, which is exactly what causes the problems in f2p. It's a fine balance that can be achieved, perhaps Albion has, though it is rare. Albion has always been decent at what they tried to do, their best decision was making the game accessible in terms of requirements to play it (even expanding it to mobile devices). This keeps populations high and lets people play without being tied to their chair.. so kudos to them overall.
@@GolDRoger-hy6wj Good point. The rating situation (a person looting someone's corpse even though they had nothing to do with that kill) is something I hope the developers change soon so it cant happen anymore.
@curtis findlay I think that is good actually. Opens up gates for many strategies like watching a person kill other then killing them because they are weak and having all the loot to yourself. It's not like you can't avoid it though.
Love this game I very much enjoy the PvP but like you the PvE is my favorite and I hope they keep adding to the PvE with more bosses and creature types
You got me into the beta of Albion Online with your videos and I later spent two years playing the game in total constantly coming back from time to time. I met a friend who played League of Legends and then met his friend and we've been friends for three years now playing WoW and LoL all because I saw a video about Albion. Not to mention the game was really fun when it was new. I remember when the map was gigantic in the beta. Gold was also 23 to 40 silver per 1 gold at the start. Great game, but need friends, lol.
Note, you can't "just do PVE". By the time you're crafting anything beyond low tier gear you need to gather materials that are in PVP zones. Go and gather materials and get repeatedly ganked and lose it all. Ditto with the dungeons outside of early game stuff. At least, that's how it was when I played (then stopped) a couple of years ago.
They should add more solo/duo mists for t6-8, without forced full loot imo. Would make a ton more players actually play the game longer and not quit when they hit t5 n see how pointless it is for them. T5 mists are a lot fun for me as newbie, but id rather never move to t6+ atm..
Actually you CAN do just PvE via expeditions. No risk, no reward (unless Expeditions started giving something decent if you aren't min/maxing the max levels)
What they should do is just modify islands to allow for high tier items that spawn very very slowly. Its important for the economy that items cannot be produced too easily and that they are constantly getting destroyed through battle.
One thing I think is really cool is that everything is player crafted even items you loot from mobs or chest was crafted by someone and you can even see on the item who crafted it.
@@samueldraws no it has to due with a thing they have called the black market somehow their a process that items from their get into chest and than like items people might leave behind get put into chest I heard about it from one of the Albion RUclipsrs forgot exactly how it worked though
@@samueldraws Albion has the Black Market. The Black Market is where the only NPC whom allows you to sell items directly to the game/NPC, you cannot sell directly your items from normal marketplace NPC, you'd have to sell it to other person via the Marketplace. The Black Market has interesting mechanic, everytime you sell something to the black market, the item goes into the whole world loot pool , making it available to claim in some random chest and enemy npc. Therefore the more rare the item, the higher The Black Market (a.k.a the Game) would pay you in silver because the amount of this specific item are limited or even nonexistent in the whole game as loot. Let me try explain it in a simple way. Black Market is the middleman to distribute player crafted items and turn it into loot to some random chest or enemy npc in exchange of abundant silver coins. but the thing is, the road to Black Market are dangerous zones, theres alot bandits (player) and gankers who wants to take chance to kill you in case you bring something valuable in black Market., theres a risk and theres reward.
The black market buys items from players and puts them into mob drops and chest loot all around the game and keeps the person who crafted its name on the item even after being looted from pve
Something about Albion allways calls me toward it but I am always put off by the PVP aspect, or I decided to google the game to death. I really enjoyed this video because you took a look at it from an admittedly (older gamer) and in extension pve side of the house. Im getting older myeslf and I also enjoy the pve if id let myself just do that. I also spent weeks of time hitting trees in new world so you would think that albion would be home for me. Anyways I clicked the link for these reasons. Great video! Cheers!
Gathering in Albion is a wicked grind if you like hitting trees. I wouldn't be turned off by the pvp. I was in pvp guild for a few years after release, got burnt out, and came back recently as a solo player. It's relaxing as can be and if I want excitement, I know where to find that too.
10:44 other people can enter solo dungeon within 90 seconds upon entering it. So in zones that people can die in (red, black) there could be pvp in solo dungeon, unless you party up but that’s unlikely in red or black zones
I wish the developers would have spent more time on the PVE. There is a huge PVE game there that if it just got some love, it could really be outstanding. Not everyone wants to PVP. It was a missed opportunity by the developers. I hope some of them watch your video to understand those people are out there. I was an early adopter and I would go back if they spent more time on PVE.
@jset818 There really aren't any good PvE MMOs out right now. Most of the ones I've tried in the last few years (PSO2:NGS, Warframe, Destiny 2, Lost Ark, etc) are good for about 50-100 hours but eventually just end up devolving into a boring list of daily chores. You could argue that Warframe and D2 aren't "really" MMOs, but they have MMO-style longterm character/account progression systems so I'd say they're close enough. If I absolutely had to choose a PvE focused MMO to play right now I would probably pick GW2 or FFXIV. I haven't played GW2 since launch, but the sandboxy nature of exploring the zones in that game was a really fun. For FFXIV I would get caught up on the story and cancel my sub again because the endgame loop is boring. Honestly though? Just wait for Wayfinder and Blue Protocol.
Sad to say but I almost forgot about you force. I've been following you since high school and I'm 30 now. Glad to see your still doing your thing I'm considering trying this game out now 👍
I wanted to love this game, it's good but the zerg kills it. I do not enjoy running around in large packs owning nor do I like running in small packs losing everything to wandering large packs. At the end of the day, it all comes down to that. I don't mind big guilds, I just don't like the large group spam-clicking lag packs. Just not fun.
They could just release a single server with an opt-in PvP system for those who do not enjoy zerg runs, even if the "main" premise of the game is the "OH SO GLORIOUS HARDCORE MMO EXPERIENCE", just have a pve server on the side for those who want a more chill experience with the game. It would not affect the sweatlords at all.
I don't think that must be a problem because you interact with a single zone at a time. This system is the closest any mmo can get to your idea because one huge chunk of map with players in it will crash even the most advanced servers today.
Albion Online is WAY TOO HARDCORE for most gamers. Full loot loss on death in the black and red zones are a massive turn off for most. But, if you enjoy the thrill of hunting or being hunted and wear gear/weapons ARE ACTUALLY VALUABLE sign up :)
I love Albion, I spent most of my time in it farming green and corrupted dungeons. I do not like the zerg stuff but honestly if you have a brain and enough skill you can walk around black/red zones without getting killed.
Agreed. There are ways to farm in black zones without getting killed. And even if you do, you can still earn lots of silver from your initial trip and get back in there. xD
I keep looking at Albion and passing on it because I've got so many games in my backlog that I keep trying to get through, and having my time sucked away by another MMO will not help. I keep getting tempted though.
You will get addicted once you figure out which weapon and armor setups you like. Back when I played, I had a timer on my phone so I could log in to albion every day to do my farms on my island lmao
If you like full loot PvP. 100% give it a try for only a month. Get your feet wet, see how you like it. If you dislike it. Good. You stop playing. If you like it. Good. You come back to it later.
@@gavin9174 Yes. Yes you do. But only in certain PvP zones. Which are called "Red or Black zones". The only reason a non-pvp'er would enter those zones would be to farm minions or materials which you need to do to "further your exp gains"
@@relyks8645 ... Have you tried going to the black or red zones literally naked but with your gathering tool to get stuff? True story, I went to the black zone naked and instead of being ganked, one player walked up to me, offered me a trade and was trying to give me 100k silver. xD I refused of course, telling the person that I'm doing a zero to hero challenge. Sometimes you, just have to play smart. The basic principle is... Don't bring what you can't afford to lose. People in game can inspect you and you're less of a tget if you literally don't bring any good gear. Flat tier 4 or even T3 gear is enough to get you off other people's radar. Plus, you can always set your equipment to "get away from me" mode to avoid players. xD The hide and seek aspect of the game is fun for me. You can dupe gank squads (or even be invited to their guild) if you play it smart. Avoiding points of interest. And the deeper you are in a black zone, the less players it has and the more you can gather. Or! You can join a guild and all of you guys go roaming. There was a recent update literally yesterday that if you get killed, only your allies can loot you but only for a limited amount of time, as well as some balance fixes here and there.
@@relyks8645But the purpose of the game is high risk, high reward. Gathering high tier materials wouldn't be as profitable if anyone could do it with little to no risk
I would 100% be playing Albion Online if it wasn't a PvP game. My days of joining guilds and PVP'ing are over. I just want to play with friends casually, perhaps do a few dungeons, some exploration, work up skills and professions, etc. I don't want to get ganked by hardcore players who rob me of all my hard earned effort. That unfortunately seems to be an essential core of this game which is a shame because it otherwise looks like the kind of game I'd love to play.
@@1njustice I'm hopeful that Pantheon, Corepunk or Monsters & Memories will turn out well, but I'm not holding my breath. I typically have to rely on multiplayer survival games like Valheim, V Rising and Conan Exiles these days if I want to play with friends and enjoy an MMORPG experience. I still feel challenged in these games as well as get a sense of accomplishment. There is risk, but its not unpredictable or insurmountable. Hopefully we'll see more games like them.
I have 3 months played in Albion, the main content I do is yellow zone faction pvp (non lethal). I have 164 million silver and about 100 million in gear. Anyone who tells you that lethal pvp is the way to make money is dead wrong, in fact those are the people you see begging for money in the cities...
I really enjoyed Albion for the time I played it. It had a good PvE combat action system better than Path of Exile and other ARPGS, which isn't saying much but it had good skill based combat unlike ARPGS. The problem with the combat though was that there's 0 feedback and it feels horrible despite having good mechanics. Everything else about the game was pretty good from what I recall Edit: Oh yeah, another fault with the game is that it wasn't solo friendly when I played it. It was still good and I managed to make it on my own becoming rich - paying for premium monthly without real money, being successful in PvP, so it's possible to play the game solo but I would hope they added in better solo content at some point.
In my opinion, the problem with this game is it repels solo players. If you don't have the time to put into the game with guilds and friends, you will get constantly ganked trying to farm...
Thank you for that video! I was looking for a new MMO to play, but Albion seems to have changed so much since I last played years ago, I just might go back to it instead.
Ayeee an Albion video 💪🏽. Been playing off and on since around launch. Just recently got back into it heavy and got like 7 of the homies to hop in, it’s waaaay better than the early days 🤣.
@@MrSubasltu Dohhhh! and thank you for the fast reply lol. It might not bother me if getting stuff back is easy i.e craft it back / buy it back / easy to farm money etc
You can avoid PvP, just know eventually you will have to go to PvP zones to get higher end materials and go to higher end dungeons. If you play smart though, you can avoid PvPers...just know you will die sometimes going out there and you have to be okay with losing your stuff sometimes.
CASUAL PLAYERS TURN AWAY!!! EDIT: After 404 hours of gameplay, the game is fun and i think how the skill leveling up tree is great HOWEVER I got banned 3 days ago on the accusation of BOTTING. I HAVE A 1 MILLION PLUS FAME on gathering (fame is exp) and for new players that's a lot. I'm gatherer by trait like every other game. So i guess farming every for 1 and half hours everyday while watching youtube on the second monitor is considered as botting. FFS. Have tried to appeal the ban via email but no response. They even block my phone from review the app. SO HERE I AM and to make matters worst. I have JUST bought a 30 days premium via with 300 USD worth of gold (+ skins and a couple 100 usd at least more because i see the potential is in this game). YOU HAVE TO USE META WEAPONS to defend yourself in PVP zones or face getting rekt in seconds and to stack that the META weapons are EXTREMELY expensive (which is fine to a certain extent) HOWEVER the to craft and gather the specific resource in order to craft use weapon/armor top tier is GATE KEPT( along with 80% of the game's content) by MANY GUILDS (they camp the zones 24/7). You risk everything in your inventory to even attempt the journey to said zones. Granted it doesn't cost much but in gathering gear you STAND NO CHANCE AGAINST PLAYERS IN PVP GEAR (usually come in a group of 3-10 so even the BEST OF THE BEST GEAR WILL NOT SAVE YOU). If you go with combat gear you're basically crippling yourself on the gathering buff. 65 hours: If you're not into PVP and can't vibe with cut throats (certain guilds) then do not bother downloading. Granted the game is fun at first however definitely recommend watching a guide before anything else as the game is fairly punishing when you don't know what you're doing as you progress pass mid tier, it becomes very grindy. The game forces you into pvp in mid-upper tier zones. Btw for context, blue and yellow are safe zones whereas red and black are full loot zones. Market is pretty much controlled by the "Cartel" so dont bother opening public crafting lots (They'll drain you via free methods, translation you loss a lot of in game money) Players attacking you mid gathering in a yellow zone (dont lose gear but silver for repairing) just for the heck of it becomes annoying after awhile. In higher tier zones (red and black), gankers roam the area waiting for you to pass through and burst you down and loot everything you have. (recommend cheap gear to save on cost) OR You can prog in safer zones where resource nodes are mostly camped by players essentially making it harder to farm although in rare cases, players might attack you mid gathering just for the heck of it or just to remove you from the node. TLDR; snail pace prog in save zones OR risk your gear in pvp zones AND TRUST NO ONE or bring friends you trust along.
To me it doesn't matter if it's full loot PvP or not. What really kills the enjoyment for me is the full blown p2w in this game and the fact that it's so cheap. Like you can just spend 20 bucks and get millions of silver with which you can then just immediately buy the best gear and even buy tomes to level it up. It just kills any feeling of progression for me knowing I can get to my goal infinitely faster by just dumping a couple $$$ on the cash shop. Also, if you are not SUPER into full loot world pvp there really isn't that much interesting/challenging/rewarding content left the game has to offer. That's why it will probably always remain a niche mmo.
@@beanbowl918 I would bet not allot of people are doing this, why would you spend real money on something you will most likely lose anyway. Even if You spend $100 You are not even near of getting anywhere. The moment You step outside you Will die, even with the best gear. Irl money is only usefull for membership or cosmetics. No one uses money to Buy in game items or tomes, constantly
Amazing game, not always as simple as this video makes it out to be, Lots of content for different types of players, from big Gvg fight for terrys, to some Zvz with locked down zones, 10v10s , 5v5s , 2v2s , 1v1 corrupteds, you got your Mists for solo roaming and pvp, 2 player Mists, Ava roads for some groups, Big Ava dungeon for some organised PVE, Hardcore expeditions for group PVE that is 100% safe, Faction Warfare , World Bosses, game is social , making friends and enemys is the name of the game, not for people who dont like losing gear if they want to acces high level content, but its very much possible to build a good economie in the safe zones
Games like this where you can craft your way up are always too good to be true. By this i mean, you can craft for a while but once you get a little bit higher up you get murdered over and over trying to gather and craft so it becomes impossible to progress. And looking through the comments, yep, it’s exactly that. How sad. I love gathering and crafting and haven’t found any games where you can just be that full time and get to top level stuff like everyone else.
Bruh what You don't craft from resources you gather, you craft from resources you buy in the market, crafting from the resources you gather is just a waste of time Besides, there are many people who play purely for crafting and doesnt even touch the black zones or any pve/pvp content (other than redzones to transport to caerleon if theyre going to sell it to the black market) It's possible to play the game purely for crafting, but obviously you need to get that silver to start crafting from somewhere
This game has daily maintenance exactly when I get home from work and I only have like 1-2 hours to play so I stopped playing it. To bad it’s not a bad game. I find it strange that the server goes down daily though..
i loved Albion, i played it for thousands of hours.. but sadly i had to quit due to the high ping.. playing on a 140ms+ was so frustrating once gotten into the t8+ gear .. i just wish they could release an european server
Believe it or not, there is plenty of non lethal content that you can do in Albion. You could play this game with out ever stepping foot in an area you lose your gear. It does however cater to the full loot pvp type of people. Either way, its very addicting and for a free game, you could certainly get 100s of hours out of it
Great vid, though it would've been nice if you elaborated a bit more on the full-loot PvP and death mechanics of the game as I imagine that will prevent quite a few people from even trying the game.
Which is a shame, because there's a lot of fun to be had increasing your "flight" part of "fight or flight" as part of PvP. It makes the rewards feel that much better. WoW poisoned the MMO gaming market with the "up and to the right" psychological Skinner Box and people are addicted to thinking that what a game "should" be.

Been playing Albion on and off since Covid in 2020. Its the one MMORPG that I have never ever felt FOMO. The amount of ways to play the game in this sandbox is amazing. I prefer to ZvZ and gather. @tizodd6 they can in yellow if they're flagged up for pvp, but those players have a very short lifespan lol and you drop NOTHING in yellow and blue zone.. so even if you do get killed, which is extremely rare, you don't lose anything. Only really annoying 12 year olds try to knock down (the term for 'killing' in yellow) players in those zones.
I can def tell this is a paid promotion. This game FORCES you to pay for a monthly subscription. If you don't you will be at a severe disadvantage. This should have been mentioned in the video, but of course you can't do that when you're paid to paint the game in a positive light.
I haven't played in over a year, but I remember it being relatively easy to earn premium in-game through crafting. Is that no longer the case? When I started, I paid a few bucks to get the player island and with that I earned enough for the 30 subscription in a week.
I'm glad they're updating their game to keep it relevant, so we can have more flavours of MMO out there. Still not gonna play it tho, full loot PvP sounds like a nightmare!
This game is very interesting, but i didnt enjoy my pve experience with about 150 ping, seeing skill shots 1 seconds late, and also activating 1 second early, is just not fun for me
if only this game character models wasnt too edgy, it would have been a perfect game, they edgy style of characters make outfits look terrible , it gives me the feeling of old school pixalated characters, if only it was more like its art style model

Albion is a game with so much potential. It’s a shame the dungeons are so repetitive layout and little variety. If it had a U.S. based server and better dungeons I would have loved it so much more.

PVP ruined this game for me i wish they had separate servers for this stuff or at least kept it to like small groups in the pvepvp side but nope you walk through gates and get ganked by 5 people and then if you get a peacefull moment you get ganked by roaming pvp guilds 5+ ganking you games impossible for solos basically your charismatic and have friends or you get destroyed.
I tried Albion a few years back. If they had WASD movement that played like V-Rising, this might be the perfect MMO for me. But alas, it feels like an ARPG click-fest. I would say that the gameplay looks more compelling than Diablo 4 at least.
I'm not interested in any game that has full loot PvP. Spending a bunch of time earning gear only to get jumped somewhere and losing everything just because I was out numbered sounds terrible. No thanks. Yeah no, hearing that the game eventually forces you into PvP-zones regardless of what you want is the last nail in the coffin for me.
Its fun and profitable too, you can also go solo and play rat gaming...
75% of the comments complaining about Albion are made by people that have clearly not played Albion.
Especially about p2w lol
@@RVxCobra Wait... People are calling Albion p2w? Lol. xD
Love this game
I very much enjoy the PvP but like you the PvE is my favorite and I hope they keep adding to the PvE with more bosses and creature types
It hasnt changed sadly.
Same reason why I quit. Get ganked, when I only want to just farm and grind.
And that's the reason I stopped playing.
@@Needz1that's really cool
So in zones that people can die in (red, black) there could be pvp in solo dungeon, unless you party up but that’s unlikely in red or black zones
or you just wait 90 sec at the entrance and see if anyone follows u in. if not u do the dungeon 100% safe
Biggest difference is they restarted their marketing engine and sponsorships it seems ;-)
Have you been doing Hardcore expeditions? Or the world bosses? The group pve is pretty intense.
It's a heavily focused pvp full loot game... this game will never have decent PVE.. there are MUCH better pve games out there.
legit play 1 week and u can pay it with silver ing lol
@@MyTardisGoWhoosh I've been itchy to play some good mmo pve games, can you recommend some?
Yeah that's why I just hellgate.
There are sooo many cool systems in this game, but I agree, kinda breaks down into this.
@@Idiosynchrosis have you considered letting your balls drop
And this is why I stopped playing Albion Online years ago.
I like Albion Online sometimes.. but I don't really think its Open World, as only a part of an area can be accessed at one time
I don't think that must be a problem because you interact with a single zone at a time.
This system is the closest any mmo can get to your idea because one huge chunk of map with players in it will crash even the most advanced servers today.
@@aquibkhan9385 Hm I do play a game called Runescape which loads the entire map with players in it, and I never saw it crash

No Ultra wide support....SO glad I bought this monitor to play games in 16:9....

@@AngeloGene Not being able to gather them myself defeats the purpose of the game for me.

Have you tried going to the black or red zones literally naked but with your gathering tool to get stuff?
True story, I went to the black zone naked and instead of being ganked, one player walked up to me, offered me a trade and was trying to give me 100k silver. xD
I refused of course, telling the person that I'm doing a zero to hero challenge. Sometimes you, just have to play smart.
The basic principle is... Don't bring what you can't afford to lose. People in game can inspect you and you're less of a tget if you literally don't bring any good gear.
Flat tier 4 or even T3 gear is enough to get you off other people's radar. Plus, you can always set your equipment to "get away from me" mode to avoid players. xD
The hide and seek aspect of the game is fun for me.

I met your channel 10 years ago on the release of ESO. I would love to see you revisiting the game.
If Sandbox Interactive didn't pay you a MINIMUM of 10k for this video you got jipped. They've paid much smaller channels far more for promotions.
Agree with the sentiment. What games are you playing or do you have your eye on that are in development?
@@1njustice I'm hopeful that Pantheon, Corepunk or Monsters & Memories will turn out well, but I'm not holding my breath. I typically have to rely on multiplayer survival games like Valheim, V Rising and Conan Exiles these days if I want to play with friends and enjoy an MMORPG experience. I still feel challenged in these games as well as get a sense of accomplishment. There is risk, but its not unpredictable or insurmountable. Hopefully we'll see more games like them.
Worst aspect of other games, like Sea of Thieves, as well. This game has so many pros - It's a shame that a single con (well, an umbrella) tanks it.
Everything else about the game was pretty good from what I recall
Edit: Oh yeah, another fault with the game is that it wasn't solo friendly when I played it. It was still good and I managed to make it on my own becoming rich - paying for premium monthly without real money, being successful in PvP, so it's possible to play the game solo but I would hope they added in better solo content at some point.
I also like to revisit games... if devs pay me.
If Albion had Vrising/battlerite type combat I'd be sold.
This looks perfect minus the pvp and I feel like I would be forced into pvp stuff by end game, would that be accurate or can I fully avoid pvp?
sadly you cant avoid pvp
@@MrSubasltu Dohhhh! and thank you for the fast reply lol. It might not bother me if getting stuff back is easy i.e craft it back / buy it back / easy to farm money etc
That’s the point of this game.
It's quite literally a PvP sandbox.
Market is pretty much controlled by the "Cartel" so dont bother opening public crafting lots (They'll drain you via free methods, translation you loss a lot of in game money)
Players attacking you mid gathering in a yellow zone (dont lose gear but silver for repairing) just for the heck of it becomes annoying after awhile. In higher tier zones (red and black), gankers roam the area waiting for you to pass through and burst you down and loot everything you have. (recommend cheap gear to save on cost)
OR
You can prog in safer zones where resource nodes are mostly camped by players essentially making it harder to farm although in rare cases, players might attack you mid gathering just for the heck of it or just to remove you from the node.
TLDR; snail pace prog in save zones OR risk your gear in pvp zones AND TRUST NO ONE or bring friends you trust along.
Got in on the beta because of Hotform but I haven't played since. I saw someone playing this the other day and I couldn't recognize it at all
As always, amazing coverage Force!
I just revisted Albion Online today after atleast 2/3 years away lol
20 bucks will not get you anywhere in terms of EXP. Exp tomes are actually quite expensive.
Yes you can do that then lose everything you just spent that money on, that's the difference...
@@mallusdarkblade Which makes it even worse, because it absolutely screws the game economy.
It seems like lots of content for PvP and lots of bullying for PvE. :D
That was me going back every once in a while. With Runescape. Just downloaded it. Want to see how the gameplay is.
Bruh what
You don't craft from resources you gather, you craft from resources you buy in the market, crafting from the resources you gather is just a waste of time
Besides, there are many people who play purely for crafting and doesnt even touch the black zones or any pve/pvp content (other than redzones to transport to caerleon if theyre going to sell it to the black market)
It's possible to play the game purely for crafting, but obviously you need to get that silver to start crafting from somewhere

Ping is not as effective as in other games and I personally don't feel that way but I understand you
Looks good, but it's not a game for carebears like me
Believe it or not, there is plenty of non lethal content that you can do in Albion.

I tried Albion a few years back. If they had WASD movement that played like V-Rising, this might be the perfect MMO for me. But alas, it feels like an ARPG click-fest. I would say that the gameplay looks more compelling than Diablo 4 at least.
Albion is a very late game focused game
I agree, newbie here...such a hardcore Farmville in the beginning
Ah, just watched a sponsored video from another influencer. Looks like they need some fresh blood.
I had no real interest in this game before and I definitely don't now.
On the contrary, it doesn't force you. You're spreading false information.
You're the dumb one if you're going to a full loot zone with a gear that you can't afford to lose
Always wanted to check this one out... Maybe I will. Thanks brother.
Me wondering where he got 1m gold from for the entire video:
