Lynn is a character who should've been given more time and I think she was unlucky to have been introduced when she was. I think she would have had a better run if she had been introduced even 6 months later. I wonder what happened behind the scenes because we've never seen the actress who played her show up on any documentaries or give interviews or anything like that. Even in Home and Away world, she lost touch with Pippa and the others.

Lynn’s return really did feel like a missed opportunity. The storyline fell flat, lacking the depth or excitement it needed.. It’s no surprise the actress disappeared from the show - maybe the writers didn’t know what to do with the character, or it just didn’t resonate with the audience. Definitely underwhelming.
I had an official Home and Away book that was published during the first year of the show. I think there were several reasons for Helena Bozich's exit. The producers decided that the cast was too big. Feedback from focus groups said that the character of Lynn did not really resonate with audiences. Lynn's character, given her young age and being religious, wasn't going to have dramatic story arcs like Carly, Bobby or Ruth.
