I haven’t found why they did it but the old guy in this got 11 years and another bloke got 14. The driver got about a year in prison. They bit his ear off and broke his middle finger with pliers in another video I saw on telegram. They also apparently stabbed him multiple times and shot a crossbow into him as well as broke his hand with a hammer. He survived but obviously has ptsd as well as still walks with a stick. If you just google “uk man tortured man in his kitchen and bites off his ear” several news stories come up about it.
