well, there's a trick about Prepositions with transportation which is (anything you can walk in it) Use = "On" for instance : ( "on the bus", "On the subway", "On the ship" and "on the plane), On the contrary (anything you CAN NOT walk in it) Use = in for instance : ("In the car", "in a truck" and "in a helicopter") >> so bottom line : If you must sit inside the vehicle, we use in. (it is almost impossible to stand in them.) --------- If you can stand or walk on the vehicle, then we use on. i hope that's helpful for anybody! and of course ,, i agree with you ,, we have to learn prepositons in context ... ^_^
OMG! Without missing out on respect, you're the most beautiful english teacher in the whole world. Your eyes, your skin, your smile, your hair, you fleshy lips, your face. Wow, how can I learn this way? I can't hear anything you say, while I'm staring at you, beholding your beauty. You're gorgeous.
As a Spanish speaking US immigrant that had learned English on the street and work, I found this classes exceptionally good and helpful. I had tried grammar books and found them confusing. Thank you, Emma, for helping all of us.
I’m studying English hard in order to migrate soon to an English speaking country and you’ve clarified me a couple of expressions I’ve been confused for so many time, for instance “(just) in time vs. “on time”. Thanks again I’m following you big time!
In the morning I sit on the bed, and I say my prayers and then read my Bible. At the moment I'm working on a very important project. By the way I can not have enough of your lessons. At night I take a walk with my friend. I'm overwhelmed with happyness because something good had happen today. Because of the lockdown many people are under pressure it's too much.
Wonderful teacher, your voice is very beautiful to hear, and to understand, because you don't speak very fast, and for those of us who are learning it's easier!!! Thank you very much!!!!

This transmission is even better than the last one, the sound improved 50% or more. Keep it or increase the sound a little bit more. The way you use it to explain yourself becomes much easier to understand. I keep following your channel. Moisés, from Brazil.
This is the most helpful video to learn english! I am incoming grade 12 and the reason why I watch english tutorial is I don't know how to construct an english sentences. After 4 years, the time that I finished my College, I will go back to this video and see my capabilities in spoken english, if there's a huge difference. 😁 Thanks Ms. Emma! More power!

I follow your program everyday to improve my English. Hope this program can help us. Not only studying grammar rule but also speaking English well. Thank you very much.
I have to do some exercises about the prepositions at, for, from, in of and to. Regulary I mess up with "from" and "of". Maybe you can make a video about these two?
Hi Emma! The best explanations! I heard other explanations about the “at” from an English teacher, “at” is “act” only without the letter “c”. The point is that "at" is used in a place where it is obvious from the context that some kind of action is supposed "at == act". For example, a “student at school” assumes that the student takes some actions - to study, answer to the teacher, take tests, talking, etc. What do you think about it? Reviewing your lessons over and over again, thank you.
Hello my teach Emma, good morning.. Another big video, always i find excelent tools for leaern english with you videos. And YES i LOVE this channel... Thank you my teach... The next week, begin other classs. By for now.
Hello Emma! Thank you very much! I've been enjoying watching your lessons. Could you possibly do lesson about differences between "be used to" and "get used to"? Kind regards, Evgeny
Great explanation! This subject is complex because there is not specific and unique rue to use prepositions :( We really need to know all possible contexts situations to correctly handle the prepositions.
I really like the way you teach. There is one word that I always have trouble pronouncing. "Exactly ". My grand kids say it sounds like eggsactly. Thank you so much!
