That's actually a really great question, cuz technically there isn't any "Once Per Turn" clause in Issho's card text - but the answer is no. The "End Of Your Turn" clause in One Piece is an activation window that only occurs once. You're not allowed to continue repeating the effect. If an effect happens at the end of your turn, it effectively has a "Once Per Turn" clause built-in.
I’m 50/50 with Kat post bans, able to win against Yellow B.M, Y/G Arlong & B/Y Queen so far this deck build is super fun to use , so far iv only played against Yellow in sim.
Nice! Yeah, I have good matches when playing against Arlong. And against Queen, it just depends on how good the Queen player is. The best Queen players don't swing at your life to starve your hand, and it can be tough, but usually still can do well. Big Mom is tough! Glad you're winning against it, cuz that's definitely a scary matchup a lot of times!
What are your thoughts on the 8c green rosinante to build up board for the big x drake swings the turn after? Is it too situational or inconsistent? Suddenly having a Rosi, Law and blocker rosi on the field seems pretty strong
I tried Rosinante in my very first build of the deck! And you're right - Rosinante to play Law to play something else feels absolutely AMAZING. Having said that, there really were too many times when I felt he would lose me the game if I played him. As you said, it feels too situational in my opinion. But if you really like it, go with it! I'd recommend at least 10 5-cost green units in that case so that Rosinante has more things to play off his effect - maybe consider Carrot, who is 5c green 2k counter, but on board she restands a Don at the end of the turn, meaning you get to use Issho leader ability for free!
Have you experimented with 8d Issho? What are your strategies going up against Blue and Yellow? [ Sorry, I had to delete my question about 7d Kid. I didn't realize my full name and picture were on the comment. ]
No worries, 8c Issho is certainly nice for longer grindier games. You could drop 1 Kuzan and Kid to make room for Issho. I personally don't run it because I like the immediacy of 7c Kid giving you a blocker, whereas 8c Issho doesn't necessarily give you any defensive value on-play. Against Yellow, you're using 4c X-Drake to just swing big at their life with multiple units, dropping them to low life, making 10c Mom a bad move for them. As you build your board you're also trying to remove their's via Law + Koby, Garp, and 5c X-Drake. The Kid is probably not the right move in that matchup unless you spot an opportunity to play him after they've already used an 8c Katakuri
Thanks! OP5 is unfortunately a very tough time to play any green leader as Sakazuki usually crushes them, and there's a little too much of him going around right now. However, if I were to ignore that fact and try to build an updated version of Issho anyway, I'd definitely try a list that takes advantage of some of the same cards that Sakazuki is using, such as Ice Age, Great Eruption, Rebecca, Hina, and Lucci. Lucci in particular is great with Issho leader, because your leader minuses ALL units by 1, which better helps set up Lucci's double KO, vs Sakazuki leader, who can only minus one unit. And of course, another benefit Issho leader has is the fact that he can restand his 4c Kuzan after attacking with it, whereas Sakazuki leader is very likely to lose the Kuzan after swinging once with it.

Why not run 2 drop Garp if you can restand? That’s the biggest drawback to 2c Garp is he’s a pseudo blocker because he’s so easy to kill and so expensive to defend (and he’s a kill on site so the second he’s rested he will be attacked). If he can re-stand he becomes brutally oppressive
Popping a 3k or 2 drop is just so easy with the better decks. Its as good as dead when it hits the board in most matchups where you are actually getting things into garp range
@@brockfg so you’re making them waste resources to deal with a 3k 2 drop? Better hope what they spent was equal in cost, or you win tempo. Secondly… he’s a lot harder to deal with when he can’t be KO’d in combat, due to Issho’s effects. So you’re forcing them to use resources to get rid of him
@matthewdavis6741 i mean i dont hate it as a 2k option in the issho deck. I have run garp at 4 in my issho deck for many games. The reality is that any red deck is killing it simply. It is an absolute tempo advantage for them. On top of that, what you are asking for is a 3 don investment just to pop a zero cost and restand garp. You put a 4th don under leader and now you can pop a one cost. Pay some more don for cost reduction? Now you spent a whole turn on having garp kill a 5 drop and restand it, your board consisting of small bodies. Getting a 4 drop kuzan and 2 drop garp to stick in a timely manner is easier said than done. It is very slow. Garp is just so situationally effective u end up not swinging it half the time you play it bc you are already falling behind
@@brockfg I will say I was confused about Issho. I thought it said restand ALL characters 5 and under. That’s what made Garp a must play. I misread the card. He’s less valuable now
2c Garp is the absolute MVP of my Garp leader deck! Absolute monster of a card with that leader's ability But as someone who loves that card, it's not the right fit for this deck imo. Protecting it with a restand is fine, but getting any use out of it to begin with is hard. It's not easy to reduce units all the way down to 0. That takes a lot of resources if your leader isn't RedBlack Garp. Those resources are better spent developing a board of strong attackers in Issho leader, in my opinion But hey, if you find 2c Garp is useful for your Issho deck, rock it!
I've definitely considered it, and honestly still think about cutting 1 Kid and 1 Kuzan to throw 2 8c Issho's in there. I can see it working. @@WillofDDT I don't currently play Kuzan in my build and I think the cost reduction of Issho is just extra and not the primary reason to play him. @@CrownofRa Sure, the card rip effect is fantastic, can't deny. I love Issho in my Garp deck. Might try putting it back in the Issho deck, but so far I like how the deck has been performing
Yup! Definitely a dead card in certain matchups, especially against Blue, but you can always just discard it for Koby or Garp effect in those matches. Playing it is expensive, but once it hits the board it's a monster!
The image on the sleeves is a Bionicle character, lol! We used the Custom Sleeve Crafter on Dragon Shield's website to get these sleeves custom-printed.
It's frankly just too expensive. It prevents you from using leader ability that turn and using, and prevents you from putting one Don on X-Drake and getting in multiple huge swings, which is generally what you want to be doing late game. It is definitely nice for longer, grindier matchups though, so if you want to try running 2x 10c Kuzan, i could see it working!
@@xShredMasterx5000 Yup, that's exactly right. He is not searchable. Some searchers can grab any target that **includes** the specified type. So for example, OP04 Ms. Valentine can grab "Baroque Works" cards as well as "Former Baroque Works" cards. But Brannew unfortunately does not search for cards that **include** the word "Navy," he searches specifically for "Navy."
Yeah I explain why in the vid when talking about 5c Garp. Garp effectively does the same thing as Sakazuki with this leader, and synergizes better with the leader's restand ability
There's honestly just no room. Spiderweb is the better event for this deck's playstyle. I would love to run Shockwave, because it is searchable, but ultimately it's a much easier event for the opponent to play around, and Spiderweb just generates so much value when used with the strong blockers that this deck plays. That said, if you've tested Shockwave and like it, don't let my opinion stop you!
A little too expensive. Playing him means you can't put 1 Don on X-Drake and do a bunch of huge swings on your turn. It also means you can't use leader ability. 10c Kuzan is good for longer grindier games though. So try it out, see if you like it! I wouldn't play more than 2 though.
Well, not to be obnoxious, but 16 supernova is less than 31 navy for starters lol. And shoehorning Bonney in means cutting something valuable. There's really just no room in my opinion. I'm also very against running double searchers in decks where one of your searches only looks at Top 3. Top 3 searches are so easy to miss already - trying to balance your searchable targets with two different types is just not worth it. Even in this deck, where 8 cards are both Supernova AND Navy, it just makes you more likely to whiff searches in my experience
Green in general does not have any such answers, and if you want to use Black's hax to reduce and KO big units, you might as well play Garp leader, cuz he does that much better 7-cost Kid helps take out the scary units by battle, and using Tsuru in combination with 5c Garp or 5c X-Drake allows you take out any of the opponent's scary 7-costs through effects. And generally, the opponent playing big boys is very punishable due to how wide this deck goes and how well it keeps characters safe from attack. (Especially if you have 4c X-Drake on board)
@@WillofDDT put the navy field spell Kuzan , leader and the spell is -6 for 1 Don investment. I also play 1 cost spell rest 4 cost or less and 2 cost kill 4 cost rested or play the 5 cost that kills rested
@@valhreugaming The Doflamingo event that rests a card and then kills a rested 6 cost is something I've considered. I might try it out at 2 copies because in this deck you can easily kill 7 costs with it. But even still, very very expensive event.

No 10C Kazan?
A little too expensive. Playing him means you can't put 1 Don on X-Drake and do a bunch of huge swings on your turn. It also means you can't use leader ability.
10c Kuzan is good for longer grindier games though. So try it out, see if you like it! I wouldn't play more than 2 though.
@@WillofDDTthanks man. I’m currently building this deck and using this as a guide
@@SanjiVinsmoke_Otaku Thank you, means a lot! Always experiment, make changes that you think might fit your playstyle
why not bonney since u have 16 supernova targets?
Well, not to be obnoxious, but 16 supernova is less than 31 navy for starters lol. And shoehorning Bonney in means cutting something valuable. There's really just no room in my opinion.
I'm also very against running double searchers in decks where one of your searches only looks at Top 3. Top 3 searches are so easy to miss already - trying to balance your searchable targets with two different types is just not worth it. Even in this deck, where 8 cards are both Supernova AND Navy, it just makes you more likely to whiff searches in my experience
also Izo is a man 😂
A few of us here at the channel started the card game before we started the anime - Excuse us on Izo and Okiku, we get it wrong here and there 😆
Izo is a guy
I started watching One Piece after playing the card game, I haven't met all the characters yet lol
U have no answers to big boys
Green in general does not have any such answers, and if you want to use Black's hax to reduce and KO big units, you might as well play Garp leader, cuz he does that much better
7-cost Kid helps take out the scary units by battle, and using Tsuru in combination with 5c Garp or 5c X-Drake allows you take out any of the opponent's scary 7-costs through effects.
Is there a reason your cards look so clean?
Haha, thanks! Possibly cuz I always put my cards in inner sleeves ("Dragon Shield - Perfect Fit Sealables"), and then put them in regular sleeves
