This song brings back a lot of my childhood memories of my mum, dad and my 3 sisters living with my great grandparents until we got our own home. I remember when my great pop was desperately looking for his lost cattle dog Ginger, missing for a week until he found him dead killed by dingoes. When pop came home to tell us the sad news I was so sad to hear the bad news then this song came on my great grandparents old radio. Every time this song would pop in my head I would think of Ginger our loving cattle dog who was our protector who would watch over us playing out on my great grandparents farm. Now 2023 I can finally listen by putting all the pieces together to listen to this beautiful song on RUclips with tears 😢

I can actually hear a lot of songs in this...notably from Diana Ross ("Ain't No Mountain" and "I Thought It Took A Little Time"). A lot of songs out there have a similar chord progression to this, so it's hard to say anyone took it from anyone else...
