First Time to Rio de Janeiro - family came to visit us!

There’s nothing better than family coming to visit! It’s been years since we’ve seen any of Chris’s family so this was a much-needed visit. Chris’s brother Geoff, his wife Meridith and their four children stayed with us for two weeks in Rio de Janeiro. We loved having them with us. It was such a special time.
We hadn’t seen Geoff’s family in over 4 years. They’ve had two kids during that time that we had never met. The cousins were very little since the last time they saw each other. This was an especially special time for them. The cousins fell in love with each other all over again and played so well together. It truly made me happy to see this.
One of the other things that’s really fun about visiting family is that we can show them all the things we love about Brazil. It’s great to watch them enjoy the food and see their reaction when we show them something incredible. We love Brazil so it’s wonderful when we get to show our family and they fall in love with Brazil as well.

We sold everything and moved our family of 7 from Nevada, USA to Brazil in September 2017. We came to experience Brazilian culture, learn Portuguese and start a business. We opened a trampoline park called Big Jump USA in Salvador on June 30, 2018 and our second location in Barra da Tijuca, RJ on August 2, 2020.
