As we getting close to the first quarter of the 8th edition of Marble League, we stay here at the Superhive Stadium for Block Pushing! In this event you need to push a block, hence the name, but you also have to push your luck, to push yourself!

Crazy that the Speeders have the same number of points in 4 events that the Balls of Chaos had in all 16 of last year.
I was a BOC supporter during maybe 3-4 years but they disappointed me (not even qualyfied this year...) and before this marble league, I decided to support Savage Speeders. Couldn't be happier
they are simply too inconsistent, but increasingly so the last seasons. i still think they can come back. inte the mean time, i'm rooting for Plasma.
I love balls of chaos, but they can be a little too chaotic for their own good! I miss them this year, even though they're one of the worst performing of my favorite teams they always keep things interesting!

what a performance from the bumblebees, not only setting a new record (even though they didn't keep it for long), but also being the first team to ever go past 100, and doing it _twice_
I was getting worried about the Bees performances in the first 3 events but they dominated block pushing. First gold ever for the Bumblebees as well! Proud to be one of their fans 🐝
As a Wisps fan, I was absolutely cheering on the Bumblebees. What a strong performance out of the gate! Such a close finale from the Wisps for that extra excitement. Glad to share the top 5 with the hosts.
I guess the Bumblebees and their fans were disappointed that their record has immediately been broken.

Going to be honest, this is feeling like the last couple years where they started strong and then fell apart.
Running it back in a sprint, eh? Fitting, as that does seem to be our strong suit.

The Cats have been 6th, 7th, 15th, and 15th since 2019. They've been consistently bad at it, every year. I think most fans just chalk the event up to a poor performance when they see it announced. I'll be concerned if they do poorly on the Sprint; but frankly, this finish is completely expected.
Yeah I think physically CCE don't have much mass compared to other marbles, so they lack the inertia necessary to keep the block moving. Still absolutely hilarious they get dead last and still only drop one position.
I’m telling you we need individual stats for each marble. I have a theory that CCE are the lightest ones which accounts for their speed and their poor performance at strength events.
I thought the same. I imagine it's similar for other top teams too.
If they were all the same, it would be far more random.
Yep, historically been really bad at this one. Hazers, too.
Somewhat counter-intuitively, heavier objects move faster than lighter objects, as they have more resilience against air resistance and friction resistance. It's possible that the CCE have some light and some heavy members, which gives them really good speed, but a weaker performance in team strength events. But also, keep in mind that the force of the impact is mass times velocity squared. (F=m(v^2)) In this event, #SpeedIsKey because speed matters more than strength.
It was the running order that cause the CCE to lose.
It should have been Red Eye ,Yellow Eye, Blue Eye then green Eye. You want 2 pushing the block down the track the second from last to hammer the block and then follow it up with another hit. Red Eye and Yellow Eye are the fastest marbles in the CCE team so they can give the block the momentum then Blue Eye and Green Eye can come in after for the 2 hits but thought-out this run yellow eye was just bumping into blue eye and losing speed.
The CCE did the same tactic in 2022 and came second from last so you would expect similar results they have to change it up if they want to do better in this event.
Lets hope they put Red or Yellow Eye in the 5 meter sprint or it may be another dead last result.
We need event weigh-ins like in mma or other combat sports when there is strength events

LETS GO SAVAGE SPEEDERS!!! We have the overall lead in the ML for the first time since 2020, and we got a 12 point lead!

And we got our first medal in Block Pushing! Usually this is one of our lesser events!

@@adderousThe CCE, they were 3 points up before Block Pushing and finished last in the event, while the Speeders got the bronze medal (a gold medal might have been on the table here but really god performance there)

Yeah, I've loved seeing them over the past 6 years or so on the podium giving their sincere congratulations to the gold medalists, while also casually giving each other knowing nods. They know what they're doing.

Edit: Block Pushing is always one of the best events to watch! Can't believe the Bumblebees beat the record on the first run and then the Midnight Wisps broke it a second time later on. I wonder how long this record will stand.

Nah, As a New in JMR and a Team Galactic fan, I think it's Marbula one!
In the race at Stardust accelerator, the final event of 2020 marble league, Team Galactic started off in 14th and ended up in 5th!!!
We're consistently finishing midtable, and that's good, but we need to start pushing for medals again 🌌

They really do. It's literally just bad performance after bad performance.
This is like the last outing - a parade of mediocre to downright bad performances rescued by one or two heroic ones, but not rescued anything like enough. Are some of these marbles getting too old to compete in top-level events?

And I have sympathy for both the Wisps and the Bumblebees too and I am also happy for both of them, but I feel sad for the Bees losing that ML record they set at the the first push, just at the last push of this same event it was so close...
They had the opportunity to set a record at their home and lost it, but well, at least they still came out on top and won the event, so they can BEE happy and the crowd too!

Savage speeders with ANOTHER podium finish, the most consistent team in marbles! Very glad Bumblebees won the gold! You love to see the host team win at least one! I can't believe though that the Wisps took away the record so soon after the Bees got it early on! This whole event started with a new record, and ended with it broken! The irony is that it wasn't enough to beat the Bumblebees!

Block Pushing has always been a bad event for us, now even more without Hazers, BoC, Limers, and Chocolatiers, which were teams that did worse than us.
Being a CCE fan is marvelling at what they can do when they aren't breaking your heart.

Next event is Sprint. You have a chance, you just need Green Eye to go in.
@@ElibaskerHCR2 Only as long as Red Eye is the one running, Yellow Eye and Green Eye are also good, but don't guarantee a medal, Blue Eye is a mess, and Cyan is a coin toss.
After a very solid run, I was convinced Momo was finally going to move up in the standings.

Love to see how good the Midnight Wisps always are at team events. If the coaching staff could just work on individual performances this could be a big year for the #WillOfTheWisps
The CCEs and Team Plasma definitely struggled with this event. Seems like they've gone for a light-weight approach, which makes them brilliant in speed events... yet makes strength events like block pushing their worst nightmare (this doesn't affect the Speeders somehow, because fun is banned).
Congrats to the Bumblebees for kicking the host curse's ass. Well-deserved win today.

Since I've been watching Marble League this event, at least to my recollection, has at least record breaking performance. The 5 meter sprint immediately after block pushing is going to test teams. I wouldn't be surprised if one of the teams that had a not so good showing perform well.
What was a pretty good showing for Team Galactic turned into a merely average one, finishing exactly in the middle of the pack. We're only a quarter through the Marble League, so there's still plenty of time left, but Galactic is going to have to start putting up more high placements if they want a chance at victory. #ReachForTheStars

I've known the Savage Speeders since 2016 and I still hate them.
As a person who cheers for the Cats Eyes, Bumblebees, and Speeders (approx in that order), I am very happy with this marble league so far!! A consistent, solid showing from speeders as usual, maybe their year to take it all? and Cats Eyes showing up strong so far despite this paltry showing - strength events have always been a weakness - and the bumblebees, though not doing amazing before today, have been showing that they won't let the host curse get them down!! What a thrilling event!
The Wisps never fail to disappoint in the block pushing! I believe they've had 3 marble league records in this event. Not bad eh
It's impressive at how they've excelled in strength events partially because of the formations done.
I almost feel bad for the Bees losing the record right after setting it, but 1st place is nothing to sneeze at!

Would love to see some slightly higher finishes for my Raspberry Racers, but after Ruzzy absolutely TANKED the 5m hurdles I'm ok finishing top 10 today.
And being in the top 5 overall after the first quarter of the competition is not bad either. We've still got time to climb the order.

Omg so nice for the bumblebees to take gold on their home. It really shows how hard they must have trained for this event, they even got a record on the first heat! Hope this means bumblebees are going to show a fierce side on power/strength events! On another note, my favorite team, the crazy speeders, always staying true to their name! Consistency is key :)

There were a total of ***SIX*** pushes that broke the old record (based on the not-super-clear still frame, the old record was 98.25). Shining Swarm and Savage Speeders both had 1 run that broke that record, while the Bumblebees and Midnight Wisps both broke it twice.
(And thinking on the remark at 7:50 about verifying runs to make sure, if the new record was 101.30 and the Bumblebee's total was 201.3, that means to make 1st, the Wisps's 2nd best would have had to have been 100 or better, which we already knew it was not). ;)
