YES YES YES! Publish that pattern. Love your Petite Knit sweater- yet another one I need to put in my favorites. Kim
Yay! Thank you!
Would love the hat pattern! It’s the type of hat I would wear and knit again and again 🤩
Yes publish the pattern. Most people publish on Payhip along with Ravelry. You can never have too many hats.
Oh cool! I didn’t know about payhip - Thanka you! And thanks for the kind comment!
Another lovely episode with so much inspo and joy for the craft!
I know @RetroClaude shares patterns through her Ko-Fi shop as an alternative to Ravelry - you can use the shop to host free or paid PDF downloads :)
Oh thank you! Great idea!
Absolutely publish the pattern! As a knitter, whose self drafted object became a pattern because someone loved it, I wholeheartedly support you doing so. It is a great exercise to actually write a pattern with the intent of other people, reading and making the object. My pattern is The Party Bow and it is so much fun to see them popping up on social media😊 I, for one, would love to make your hat!
Love the episode, the idea of publishing the hat pattern, and the sweater you’re wearing! Maybe I should knit that instead of another Lento?
Yes! You would love this one I think! And it works 3/4 sleeves very well! ❤️😉
Absolutely publish your hat. I love it and would be delighted to see it on Ravelry
Thank you Lily. Would you do an episode that teaches the hat class you shared with your group? I know some new knitters who want to make hats, and your pattern and an online video would inspire them.
Well, that’s a fun thought! I’d have to research how I’d structure it, but definitely something to consider! 💗 Thanks so much!
Love the hat. I’d test knit it for you. I’ve never published or test knit but am an avid knitter and critic of patterns from a technical standpoint. As a CPA I’m very detail oriented.
Ohhhhh yeah! I love the CPA attention to detail! Thanks so much for watching! 🤗
Yes to publishing your pattern! I love hearing about all of your endeavours! Sooooo inspiring!
Yay! Thank you! You inspired me so much as welll! 🤗
I love that hat! I would love to knit one too - the even decreases to make the top rounded really look fantastic.
Thanks so much! And YES! The rounded top is what cuts down on the “floppy bit!” Off to figure out the other side of Ravelry! Thanks so much for the support!
Loved this Lily!!! Haha when you talked about patty Lyons’s tip about grabbing stitches from the tip of your needle, I laughed because I looked down and I was grabbing it from about an inch and a half below. I also think that you definitely should publish that hat. I think that’s amazing that you figured that out and also that you brought knitting to all those wonderful women! If it helps, I’m totally languishing on my twigs as well, and I’m totally scared about the sizing!
Love your podcast Lilly from the UK. Have just casted on the fortune sweater after seeing yours. I too didnt twig the 4 leaf clover thing 😊
Another lovely episode Lily! I always love seeing your beautiful yarn choices-I can't wait to see your completed summer cardigan knit with suri alpaca yarn. Here's another vote "Yes", please publish your hat pattern! I want to knit it! 👍
Thank you so much! I am super excited for my fluffy cardigan too! And I'm hoping to get this hat up asap! :)
hello from a new subscriber, formerly from the Bay Area (all over - peninsula, Berkeley/Oakland, SF, & Sonoma) but now living in Iceland -- and another vote yes for the hat recipe! simple recipes are always wonderful to have at hand, and since it's just a recipe (not a Big Fancy Pattern) i think it would be fine to just put it up on Ravelry & say that is someone doesn't have access, just to email you & you'll send.
Welcome aboard! And I’d love know your SF to Iceland story! So fascinating! And thanks for the support on the pattern, you’re entirely right that I can just make a note for folks. Thanks so much for the kind comment! 🤗
@@Lily_curatorial_knits the SF to Iceland story is... a bit long/curvy. but will add more as makes sense in this short-and-sweet format!
Thanks for sharing all your beautiful knits with us Lily, I get so much inspiration watching your channel. I haven't knit a sweater in years and you've got me wanting to dip back into the sweater pool. 👕😊
Wonderful! Go for it!!! Sweater knitting is so rewarding and we are so lucky to be able to do it! Thanks so much for your kind words! ☺️
I just happened on your podcast and really enjoyed it! Your projects are lovely and I hope you will write up your hat pattern! I’m subscribing so as not to miss any future episodes 😊
Thank you so much! 😊
Forgot to add that my mom's husband also wears kilt with all the accessories like a kmife in the stocking. Male guests also have some kilts available to wear. I will try to make somethibg kilt like for my boys next year!
Love that!
Yes please, please publish the pattern! It’s exactly what I’m looking for, and we are still deep in winter here in Alberta!!! Big hugs.
OK, I'm going to go for it! :)
You should absolutely publish that pattern. I’d love to knit one!
Fantastic! Thanks so much!
That pink cable sweater is so beautiful. It’s the color of some of our trees in full bloom here. I hope we see you wearing it a lot!
Thank you for the wonderful image of the trees in bloom 🌸 I will think of that whenever I wear it! 💗
Yes to the hat pattern! I'm back to knitting after a long hiatus and an easy pattern would be so appreciated!
YES! I love this for returning knitters too--Instant Gratification and a useful item to boot!
My mom's husband is a Scot (but living in Estonia), so we've had Burns Suppers for several years now. We have a program with the talks and such, traditional neeps and tatties, haggis, etc. It's really great!
Such a special thing!
I’m finishing up the Satellite shawl and you’ve inspired me to cast on a a Twigs sweater which I’ve had the pattern for years! Just a heads up, the indigo dyed yarn from Verb might color bleed. I’d do a test wash , just to check. I’ve knit with indigo dyed yarn before and it did bleed. Love your content and inspiration, happy knitting 🧶
Thanks for the great tip! And Twigs is such a special pattern, even though it’s taken me so long I’m almost ready to cast on another in a different palette! 🎨 😂
So happy see you again and all your gorgeous knits , yes yes yes to hat pattern please. ❤
Ok!! Thanks so much for your kind comment! Love doing this, it so fills my cup to share with folks!
I love that you taught your ladies group to knit! 👏🏻🌺💕
Thank you! 😊
Would love to hear what you decide to do with your hat pattern. I’ve been sitting on one for a while myself. Teaching friends to knit really stretches the brain!
I’m going to do it! May not come out for a bit, but I’m going to go for it! 🙌
Yes! Have a tech editor take a look at your pattern before publishing. 14 testers is absolutely enough ppl to have tested it. No need to publish anywhere else! You got this.
Great idea! 💡 definitely worth having someone give it a pass over! Thank you! 🤗
You should totally upload that hat pattern!! I’d love to knit one myself 🤗
Oh that's great to hear! Thanks so much for the push!
Yes to the hat. Love the pink cable sweater.
Oh thanks so much, Janet! I'm just a few hours away from finishing the pink cables and I AM SO EXCITED lol :). Thanks for the hat response as well, I'm going to go for it!
Great idea to teach a group and add them to our community. Also - I’d love to see your hat pattern out in the world.
Yes! 🙌 It was so much fun and now we have new knitters! 💕
My first listen but certainly won’t be my last! I thoroughly enjoyed your podcast…Thank you!
Yay, thank you!
I knit hats all year round and am always up for trying a new pattern! Go for it!!
Awesome! Thank you! ☺️
Yes to the pattern! LOVE the yarns you showed. Dreamy colors! Wishing you a happy spring!
Yes to your hat pattern!!
Awesome, thanks Lucile! :)
Everyone needs an easy wearable hat pattern. Great for charity knitting too. I would like that pattern please. Just saying.
Also Espace Tricot has a nice one but yours looks good too. Thanks for your podcast.
Thanks so much! I think I’m going to go for it! 🙌
Thank you for another inspiring and informative episode.
Stilettos are definitely out 😂
They are, indeed! Thank YOU for the kind comment and for watching! 🥰
The crown shaping and fabric density of your hat is beautiful! If you have the recipe written on Google Docs you would be able to share the document if people have the link, which gives access outside of Ravelry. I don't know if you're wanting it to be a paid for pattern, but having a link to the document that's shareable would give you ability to get your recipe to those with interest.
Great idea! This is fantastic and for some reason never even occurred to me. Thanks so much for sharing and for the kind note! 🤗
Please publish! I'll make it right away : )
Please, please publish the hat pattern. I, too, like the shape of crown you discussed and would love to purchase a pattern and make the hat.
Fantastic! I’m going to go for it! 🥰
I love the hat you designed for your friends. I really like your aesthetic and agree on crown fit and decreases. Your pink cabled sweater is gorgeous! ❤❤
Yes…publish the pattern. 🙂
Ok, this is going to happen!
Would love to have the pattern you should go for it
OK, thinking I'm going to have to go for it! :)
Perfect hats! Please publish the pattern!
I would split the seam.
Yep, 👍 I think that’s the way! Thanks! 🤗
