Of those three, I don't think Hook deserves a title shot.... yet. Not because of a lack of skill or dedication, but because of a lack of experience. Just don't think he's "payed his dues" at this point. Swerve.... nope, just don't see him as being a popular AEW champion. He is so not over. Of the three, Hangman, imho, is most deserving of a title shot. But, Joe as champion will better serve AEW than Hangman as champion.

I'm gonna miss MJF and wish him a speedy recovery but Joe was definitely the best choice to carry the belt. He legit feels like a final boss world champion. Great start for AEW 2024.

Samoa Joe as AEW Champion is a breath of fresh air that this company REALLY needs. I won’t get my hopes up too much but maybe this can be the beginning of AEW finally turning things around after a rough 3 or 4 months.

When AEW is dialed in, it's so so so good. This was dialed in to a '10' and every person left the ring looking better than when they walked in!
Not going lie I don’t watch a whole lot of Aew but i can see the amount of potential that hook has is crazy to only be 24 years old. He hasn’t even scratched the surface yet into that potential

Samoa Joe’s mic skill is top 3 in the industry. I don’t think anyone can touch him, he buried ppl alive with his promo every single time. Sure many ppl have opinion like cena, roman or cm punk but he’s there up with them definitely he’s able to cook them any day of the week.

Hook is one of my favorite guyz in AEW,but definitely Joe will beat him,just don't Aew start putting the title on everyone, just like n Attitude was where the title was held for a month 2 at most and then rock lost it and regained it after another month, where do you think he got all those world titles!😮
Those were actual good times sometimes hot Potatoeing a title is the exact right thing to do, its also a lot more realistic as in reality evenly matched elites would be capable and even likely to defeat eachother on any given night, for example going from Seth Rollins weirdly losing like `15 out of 20 matches to then winning 16 straight as champ makes little sense , Attitude era title reign changes were a good thing not a negative though.
