A blaster I've always wanted to be good but rarely seen modifications on, the Expand-a-Blast from the Hypersight line is an interesting beast with a MASSIVE plunger tube the size of a coke can. The artist formally known as TripleB has modded one eons ago with a very interesting auto-breach system which is absolutely amazing and I want to do this now. It's also steam punk, now 100% GEARS FREE!

Hey, Hasbro! This is what the Falconfire should've been. Yeah, the Sharpfire and the Ionfire are easy to make, but the Accustrike line deserves better.
I wonder if one could engineer this thing so you could prime it in the same motions you take to reload the thing. It'd be cool if the unlocking lever primed the blaster like the Slingfire, or perhaps if pulling the breech closer somehow did the trick.
I know someone's gonna say it, so lets just get this out of the way:

What exactly does it do? Instead of pulling the barrel, you pull the grip to open the breech...? That saves probably like 0.1 seconds. But it still is a REALLY cool looking blaster.
I love the rainy intro. It reminds me of the beginning of Aqua-Teen-Hunger-Force.

It would make a pretty cool "sniper" type blaster.
Ive got a dud rapid madness and a Burst Wave I'd like to convert into some kind of boomco sniper, probably using the burst wave components to fire and hacking apart the rapid madness to make it look more "sniper"y. Havent done any mods before really, any advice on how to convert the blaster? At a minimum, I think I can just affix a single shot tube in place of the rotating quad barrels of the burst wave, and epoxy the RM barrel over it, though I feel like that may waste alot of the Rapid Madness internals I have to work with. Any thoughts?

So Walcom how would you rate this blaster (If it was re-lubricated, re-tested, etc, obviously) 5? 9? 10? 37? S7!?!?
Not sure but I'm pretty confident it can hit some high power.
WalcomS7 I would it expect it to or else it's just a fancy jolt reskin pretty much
How to make this better in a nutshell:
1. Add a second spring and catch for the chamber.
2. Incorporate a staggered trigger, where a half-trigger pull will fire the blaster, and full will open the chamber.
When you prime the blaster, the chamber closes and locks in place. When you decide to fire the blaster, a half press fires the blaster, then the chamber comes back on the full trigger pull.
Why these actions wouldn't work at the same time is that the chamber opening will make the blaster lose pressure as the dart is fired, losing dart velocity and making the mod seem worthless.
Not sure how possible that is.
