This whole episode (and the missions) is a giant homage to Back to the Future 3.
Not just for the dlc being an inspiration, but also for Smii7Y going back in time to fix the Treadmill like how Marty fixed his mistakes in the ending.

can we all just appreciate, the absolute cinema level of story writing. I actually had goosebumps when Smii7y went back to the future (cannonicaly before ep 2 of teardown) and moved the treadmill so that the fridge wont hit it. Really well done!

Last year was the lowest point in my life and I'm not exaggerating when I say that these Teardown videos helped save my life. Even if it's just a RUclips video of a guy playing a game, it helped distract me from everything horrible going on and made me laugh when almost nothing else could.

I re-watched every tear down video just so I could be caught up. And it was worth every minute of my time.
Not only has this been watching smitty just play the game, he gave us a whole anime plot to go with it. He literally explained it by saying their is a treadmill hauniting me and i went through time and space, literally an anime explanation of plot.
It's like a Drama TV series and I find myself crying because it's over.

The scariest part of being haunted by a treadmill is you can never outrun it. You just run in place, never getting further away from it.

From good old COD to Gmod with Vanoss and onto TEARDOWN: The Treadmill Saga. Its been a beautiful thing for me to see. wish the TEARDOWN Devs would make something for you in the game a small side quest DLC about treadmills and at the end a small easter egg about you with a milk bag on top of the treadmill's controls just sitting on it.
It was the best game you played alone. You should play Firewatch.
