So what do you do when the top bolts of the strut are so rusted you can’t fit any sockets without stripping the head? There isn’t enough room to hammer on something smaller, and there’s too much stuff around it to acccidentally melt with a cut off torch.

No reason to remove the sway bar endlink or the tie rod end.

Why did you remove the sway bar link ? It does nothing to help you with replacing the struts.

When I replaced my Struts on my 2004 2wd Titan, I pulled both struts out without removing the sway bar links.
Buy the ones with a new spring in the assembly. Not worth the headache

Make sure to smash your fingers on the brake rotor while hammering the tie rod end. I think he forgot to mention that.
