Singer m2105 Basic problem solving

My first attempt at the sewing machine. I bought this model.
I stuck at the first stage when you put needle down to collect cotton from the bobbin. Well it'd not collecting anything from it so no two strings of cotton

make sure the bobbin winder is not pressed to the right hand side.
