Layzie Bone Denies Eazy-E Was Ever Harmed by Suge Knight

  • Layzie Bone and Rocky Rock of Mo Thugs Music recently sat down with DJ Vlad, and naturally Layzie had a lot to share about the late, great Eazy-E. At one point during the clip Layzie Bone admits to shedding a tear during Eazy's death scene in Straight Outta Compton, however he did notice a few discrepancies in the biopic.
"You know how tall E was?," he asked DJ Vlad when asked about the rumored altercation between Eazy-E and Suge Knight. "About 5'2 or some s**t like that. That n**a was really built like a tank, hard to hit, he was low to the ground and look how big that n***a Suge was." Like other members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Layzie Bone doesn't believe the scene played out as such in real life, especially since "E wasn't quiet like that." "I believe the little signing part because I think we would've knew if E got beat up," he added.
Watch and listen as Layzie Bone comments on the infamous contract dispute with Ruthless Records ("I don't think nobody had a perfect deal coming in the gate) and how fans of the group are still moved by "Crossroads" nearly 20 years later.

Dr. Dre wants to be more famous. I'm tired of seeing Dr. Dre trying to play the victim. Dre still remains at large, he portrays Eazy-E as a crybaby in the movie and Dre thinks he's best friends with 2Pac. Eazy-E is rolling in his grave.

People should never take any information from "straight outta Compton" as factual, being that most of the movie is fictional and was used only to boost Dre and Cube's enormous egos. Anyone who knows Eazy would know that He was never physically harmed by Suge,if He was He would have killed all involved without anyone elses input. Threatening a person's family is bad enough, but putting your hands on them? Eazy wouldn't let anyone get away with that!

That made the papers BS and allowed Eazy to still get paid from every song Dre released. "Dre day only made Eazys payday" #facts ...Dre is the buster.... not Eazy.

Man,,, Crossroads most definitely should have been played during the final Eazy-E scene. Missed opportunity. Not just a missed business opportunity. That's the least of it. The HISTORICAL RELEVANCE and CEMETERY that was missed is unfortunate. The HARMONY would have been Pitch Perfect! I had a chance to meet Layzie at The Howlin Wolf New Orleans when I was working with Wild Wayne/Q93fm. Layzie Bone is one of the coolest people I've ever met. Down to earth, humble, but very confident. Not at all cocky. He treated me like a welcomed guest. Answered a few questions and took a selfie with me and Wayne. I'm sure if I didn't know the etiquette and boundaries of being in that situation, I could have pissed him off. Nobody wants to be bombarded with questions and have some random DUDE all in their grill. I chatted with him like I would anyone I respect. It was a great experience and I look forward to hanging with him when they come back to NOLA.

It's been said that Eazy was worth only 12 million when he died, but he fired Jerry Heller and when the finances were worked out right, Eazy was worth 50 million, fact!!!

  • @drebone1986

Layzie right, I lost my cousin in 2007 and I still feel a connection to him because he was the one that put me up on Bone back at his house watching 1st of tha Month on The Box and Tha Crossroads the same, I think that's why I'm the biggest fan of Bone because it links you forever to a moment in time compared to music today where it's mostly in one ear and out the other, I put on Bone Thugs and I'm a kid again in the basement with static on cable TV with a disco ball and Christmas of 94 watching For the Love of $ and everyone trying to say the Eazy-E part because it's the only part you can understand and everyone stubbling trying to keep with the Bone Thugs flow but knowing that you are so close to a God level of greatness if you even do a couple of seconds perfect of either one of them, Bone is always fun, Bone is always real and Bone is always skill and that's what separates them in my opinion
