Sometime back I tried making one using plastic beads but the earring was too fragile,it wasn't firm enough for my liking.it was like bending according to gravity!
I don't know why.
Plse in future do a tutorial on how to make and bead the xhosa doek isiqhova and the ischolo as well.I have seen attempts by enthusiastic RUclipsrs to replicate the isicholo but at best, they've just been that- brave attempts to match the real thing!
The xhosa doek is iconic as mama Winnie Mandela would dorn it.
