🏜️ Tomorrow is a big day! I cannot formally file for retirement at my work more than 120 days before my last planned day of work, and tomorrow is day 120. Therefore, not wanting to waste time not burning bridges, I plan to file my online paperwork first thing in the morning. I expect this significant act will have some effect on my frame-of-mind regarding this whole life change: like saying goodbye to comfortable and familiar places and friends, like selling or giving away nearly everything that constitutes home, like buying a one-way ticket to someplace alien and far, with no plan to come back again to live. Step by step-one life ends, and a new life begins. #GoingAlone
