Hey Vortex, great review as always. I'm kinda stuck choosing between the Blon Z300s and the TruthEar Holas. I like some sub-bass and don't like fatiguing treble all that much. Main use case is during commute so I'd prefer good quality and comfort (also least microphonics).
We are truly spoiled for choice in the budget range! Comparisons like this really do help put things into perspective, and round down the choice. Appreciate the effort Vortex 👍 Thank you ✌
Just ordered PICCOLO and DQ6S for $9.99 each. DQ6S is a great clean, bassy set. Returned original set due to drivergate even though I liked it. KZ says they fixed issues but at this price couldn't resist regardless. Will add nozzle filter to Piccolo if bass isn't enough for me, which it probably won't be. I don't mind that mid level but the filter will bring it down a bit while adding bass.
That is a great price for those and I do hope they fixed the issues but even so they are not meant to provide much to the sound anyway. Hope you like them 👍
Hi, this is the perfect video I was looking for. Am looking for an IEM in this price range for male vocals (mid to high pitched). Any of these you could recommend for me that portrays them clearly yet naturally with just a bit of energy? I was thinking of the LANs because of the build quality but the Cadenzas tuning does also look pretty appealing.
I'd never thought that cheap chi-fi would turn into a really tight competition. I was about to buy a TWS (Soundpeats Free2 Classic) but saw that some new IEMs are trending in the market. Considering that, would you say that it is worth buying the Cadenza, Tin C2, or none of them (save)? Currently, I own a Chu, ESX, Wan'er, and QKZ HBB. I listen to various genres (rock, EDM, pop, country, etc.), so I'm looking for an all-arounder. Tin C2 got my eyes (detailed sound), even though Candeza's hype is everywhere. Don't know if they would represent a big difference in my set though. Thank you! As always, great video!
Damn my comment wasn't sent. So TLDR, IMO save up, get the Simgot EA500 as its quite similar to the tinhifi C2 if thats what youre looking for, or get something within this price range. Check on squig link on what flavour you want. Getting another sub $35 iem wont be much of an upgrade, more of a side grade.
@@cupcakeobsession Thanks for giving me some attention. I appreciate that! When looking at squiglink, I saw that C2 is quite similar to the EA500 - as you said. At first glance, the main difference is that the Tin got more bass. Currently, the C2 is being sold for 19 bucks, whereas EA500 is going for 72 bucks. Even though I kind of enjoy some extra bass, would you say that is worth it to HODL and get the EA500 in the future? Thank you again!
Be wary of side grades as it can be a waste of money and the Free2Classic is a nice TWS for the price if you are still after one? So much competition now!
@@VortexReviews1 Yeah, everyone told me to not waste my money on Tin C2 (even at 19 USD) as I already have the Wan'er and Chu 😅. I still have the Free2Classic on my shopping cart - they're crazily recommended by TWS review channels. Would you say it's a better deal buying it or spending a little more on a KZ AZ09 Pro Bluetooth Adapter? I'm open to other suggestions also 🙂. Thank you in advance!
@@fellowanony I guess it depends if you want a TWS or the BT adapter? The adapter is a bit more flexible as it can be used with multiple earphones if they have the same connector.
I preferred cra and EDX Ultra over anything else I will prefer Waner or 7hz zero over Z300. Z300 sounds like og qkzxhbb having heard 7hz zero bl03 Chu quarks dsp tin T3+ Khan aria etc CRA sounds good in any kind of track only it's a bit harsh EDX Ultra/CRA+ are probably the best one for best overall sound best bass mids vocals treble I just can't get bored of them 7hz zero and other earphones sound boring

Currently testing blon z300 wow... After a couple of hours burn in what a set. Crisp, clean tight powerful.
It's a nice set 👍

Nice Comparasion, how does the C2 stack?
Thanks and the C2 is just under these but that's still a decent pick if you like that tuning.

Both are decent but for what you want the Cadenza might just edge out the Lan.
@@VortexReviews1 Thanks for this 👍🏼
@@hmf33 No problem 👍
in between kiwi ears cadenza and z300 which one is best for good amount of bass and warm sound.
Igual quisiera saber
I wold say the Z300.
How are we going to cope without the main man?!
I won't be gone for long but I will still be answering comments. Cheers for the support!
Kiwi ears cadenza vs tangzu wan'er vs cca pla 13 and kz pr2, which do you think is better pick to start for a beginner in this stuff ? 😅
Not the last two due to the low sensitivity. Wan'er or Hola are good places to start and I did a video on this recently 👍
Waner
hi! which one would you pick between tripowin piccolo and kz castor harman? i listen mostly to rock/metal
Never tried the Castor
In this video, which one the most balance and allrounder iem?
And which one have better build quality?
Maybe Lan or Cadenza but it's personal opinion. They all have decent build quality.
Thanks you for the comparision Vortex!
I got KZ EDX Ultra, do you think upgrade to Tripowin Piccolo worth?
If you like it then just keep that model.
@@VortexReviews1 thank you for respone! In 40$ range can you suggest for listen to OST, hans zimmer sound track, watch movies?
@@quyendao5070 EW200 is meant to be good but I have not tried it.
Piccolo $9.99 currently at Linsoul 6/18 sale.
So is DQ6S. Both upgrades to Ultra though ultra is very good.
Hello! Will you going to review KZ Ling Long in the future or you are not interested in them?
Hi and probably not to be honest.
any thought on the tinhifi C3? It seems that is very similar to the cadenza but i see a lot of people either liking or disliking the treble region
C3 was a decent set but it didn't seem to get any traction in the IEM space. C3 had a little more treble.
I listen to electronic too. Do you have favorites, or tracks you go to when testing new gear?
I do have some but it's best to reference what you listen to.
In terms of detail, between the piccolos and the Z300s wich one is better? and wich one allows you more eq?
Piccolo has the better details. Depends what you want to EQ?
Which one will your pick between piccolo and waner??
Personally I would pick the Piccolo

between cadenza and blon z300 which should be bought it will be my first IEM. I want to listen to music and a bit mixing work
I don't mix so I don't know what is best for that but for the tuning they are both good. I personally like the Blon a little more.
Hey so i watch asmr and music alot which one would you recommend?
Depends on your music taste? They are all competent.
@@VortexReviews1 idk i switch alot jazz rap pop edm
It all depends on mood, i listen to too much
@@04cassius-jake Try the Z300 then.
Which one do you like best? Lan or cadenza?
For what I listen to then I would pick the Cadenza.
do the BLON z300 sound as good on phones without any DAC???
They can but it depends on the phone.
For bass impact like watching John wick gunshot slams which are the top pics?
Cadenza or Khan are what I would pick.
Which one best for Rock Edm pop hiphop
Not sure really but Z300, Cadenza and Khan are god options.
Is there much difference between qkz x hbb and qkz x hbb khan?
Yes. Khan uses two dynamic drivers per side and the other one only uses one. I heard the Khan is discontinued.
Which is the best in fitting for ears?
Everyone's ears are different.
@@VortexReviews1 my ears are small
@@Manohar-nb4cp Maybe the Cadenza?
Which one is the best for metal and edm?
Don't really have a "best" but Khan, Z300 and Cadenza are my picks.
Forget Cadenza for metal IMO not enough treble snap.
yes, high hats and some electronic guitars will lack the sparkle @@roadtonever
Which one would be the best for female vocals? Thanks
Lan or Piccolo.

which one have same sock with KZ ZSN 2 pin type c

QKZ HBB

Which set has the most macrodynamics or macro detail on this list?
Neither really excels over any of the others.
How about the simgot ew200
Don't have it so no idea.
How Blon xbb z300 compare to cca cra if both are v shape sound signature?
CRA is less of a V shape but has a 5k elevation and more extension so may come over as a brighter sound.
I preferred cra and EDX Ultra over anything else I will prefer Waner or 7hz zero over Z300. Z300 sounds like og qkzxhbb

CRA sounds good in any kind of track only it's a bit harsh
EDX Ultra/CRA+ are probably the best one for best overall sound best bass mids vocals treble
I just can't get bored of them
7hz zero and other earphones sound boring
IIRC, cca CRA had a silent revision which makes it less of a V shape.
@@cupcakeobsession CRA+ does have better mids than cra but CRA+ has sharp treble on top
