From the second season of their radio show, ReGLOSS ROOM: Next Stage. I plan on only doing each talent's special segments, but if people seem interested enough, I'll try and pull some from fan letter/advice segments too.
When they were talking about being on a proper radio station near the beginning of the program, she mentioned she was worried about people being able to understand her so she might've been speaking a bit more clearly lol.
It's a bit unusual to think of a spatula itself as cool, but it works together with a bunch of other things that it's easy to see as cool, like frying pans and grills. I can see it
This clip brought up a topic I was curious about for awhile. We like to meme about Banchou's incomprehensible speech but on average, how difficult do you find it to understand and translate her words?
Not very difficult at all. I've been listening to her since her debut so my brain has pretty much rewired to understand her lol. I'm sure it's the same for all Massugumi. The few times I can't understand(usually crosstalk) I'll check chat because they tend to repeat the streamer and if that fails, I'll check Japanese clips... But I've seen mistakes on those too so I'll ask Japanese friends and my QCer if I don't trust it.
Huh. You know, the game Splatoon 3 has the character Big Man, who’s a Manta Ray. And he talks using the word ‘Ay’. I guess that’s actually a nod to the Japanese word for ‘Ray’. I learned something!
