8:10 the counter move to the big explosive plays with Tyreek and Waddle is exactly what they’ve been doing. The methodical long sustained drives of moving the ball down the field and scoring is the answer to creating those explosive plays. If the defense isn’t going to commit to stopping you from attacking them underneath, because they are solely focused on preventing the explosive plays to Tyreek & Waddle, then you just take what they are giving you. When they stop devoting their attention to stopping those explosives from your main two guys getting over the top, they will always be there, because of the guys you have and their ability. You can’t just force the issue, just because you’re bored. That’s how you end up with unnecessary turnovers, kill your own drives for no reason, and end up beating yourself. There isn’t another magical answer to create those big plays. Defenses have to commit to stopping you elsewhere and give you those opportunities. You take what they give you, that’s all they have to do. Eventually defenses will have to make the choice and risk that exposure. So far they haven’t been willing to do that. That’s fine. We have the personnel to take advantage of everything else and put the defenses in a position to have to make that choice. We just have to remain patient and keep doing what we are doing. The big plays will be there when they are available. We already know how easy it is for this team to hit them when they are there.

I was thinking the exact same thing when Mike said that at 8:10.
The long time-consuming drives also keep the opposing offense off the field. Which is especially valuable when playing with a questionable defense.

@@TT-cj9fi There is nothing wrong with long drives of 9 or 10 plays. But when you play good teams good luck having those consistently. Their defenses won't allow it and you won't be able to execute at that high level multiple times in a game. You need to sprinkle in a big play or two. Im not talking about games vs the Raiders and Rams. When Miami plays Houston and GB and such they won't be able to have these 8 min drives 4 times a game, those teams are too good and will stop it. Need some variety to ultimately be successful

We still need to draft a #1 draft pick QB! To backup Tua, when he goes down, if concussion Tua will become a backup, with a top notch QB backing Tua up, we will not miss a beat FACTS 💯😎🚬

Tyreek Hill and waddle are earning their money because they are the reason that we are able to have the long extended drives. They are stretching the field, which allows for more of the underneath stuff and allows. Those underneath plays to get more yards than they generally would. When teams start trying to adjust for what we are doing now then we will get some of those big plays again, but we are not going to have them constantly like we did in the past.

Yes! Totally, man. Phins' long time-consuming drives are helping to keep the opposing offense on the sideline, too 👍

Gardner Minshew pit up the same amount of yards as Tua with an OC that was hired 2 weeks ago.

The team should be motivated no matter who they play and how about you stop talking about if we lose to the Patriots.

The raiders had 2 weeks to prepare for the dolphins and they had a new coordinator. The had some success but the phins won lets just enjoy the victories and stop complaining

Yep Tua get your value up!
Time for Miami to look at Qb,Coach and GM. Your already repeated the same mistakes with Tannehill. This is year 5 and we're probably not gonna make the playoffs. Make plans now.

They arent making any playoffs so let it go. They lost games they had to win for lots of reasons. Margin of error is much too small to get in

Jorden poyer is your best player on defense. You're not making a playoffs, into the month of December. You have done nothing to make anyone think you're not gonna lose all these cold games.

Poyer is our best player on defense? Lol that’s Ramsey , Sieler or Calais Campbell. I don’t disagree with the cold weather games though. They have to prove it

Grier messed up not resigning Deshaun Elliot and signing Poyer instead!! And about the cold weather it all comes down to running the ball! If the run game is working then weather doesn’t mean anything🐬🏈
