I hope you stay on RUclips …as much as possible !!!
Your shows are the most interesting because of the vast knowledge you bring to the table I have learned a lot from you; and you fill the holes I have in Rock music !!!
And my favorite band is The Who
I got Live at Leeds in 1970 when it came out
I still think it is the best all time live album
Thanks for your efforts !!! Take it easy 🎸🥁

Hi Richard! Oh, I don't plan on leaving RUclips anytime soon. Thank you for the words of encouragement! Means a lot! We have the same favorite band! Live at Leeds is definitely my favorite hard rockin' live album as well. Hard to top! Be well and keep on spinnin' the tunes! :-)

Hello. I've known Kraftwerk for many, many years now, but thanks to Dr Mix's breakdown I've realized how much truly hard work was actually needed to be put into it back then to produce such complex collection of songs with all the early electronic gear they had, no computers, no samplers, huge sequencers the size of a (literally) washing machine lol. And also an American guy finished mixing it, his name is Leanard Jackson. I once bumped into him on YT by pure accident in a comment section for some random Kraftwerk video, he told me he arrived in Germany in the winter and worked for a couple of months throughout 1977 to early 1978. He lived in a hotel designed by Florian's father, a renowed German architect. They asked him to make a final mix of the album sound "robotic" (his exact words). I think he did an absolutely perfect job, right? Anyway, best wishes from Poland! 😎🇵🇱🇺🇸

No Hanna, please don't abandon youtube. Instagram, fakebook, & titter are the negative entities. I won't touch them! RUclips is the least negative of all of them. I enjoy greatly your videos here and will miss you so hope you do not fade away here. Don't let a few trolls chase you away!

Hello my friend. So good to see you again! My fave Byrds album is also Notorious. I have the (MFSL) mono cd. I love the Feelies song Too Far Gone from Only Life. I recommend the 3rd Kraftwerk album Ralf & Florian although it's rare indeed. Saw Laurie Anderson live in the early '90s at a Catholic girl's school. Spoke to the head nun afterward who was appalled by the explicit language. I think Laurie was making a statement. Glad your enjoying Eno-so many great albums. Highly recommend his 1st-Here Come The Warm Jets. Love your left middle finger no polish look-so cool!!! All the best to you from John.

Hi Hanna! Great to see you still building the collection (and then some). Fantastic Undertones find, I've been on the look-out for their debut album for ages. The Undertones spin off band, That Petrol Emotion, are worth looking out for. That X-Ray Specs album is great fun, shame about the clicks and pops. At least the music is quite noisy so should cover some of them up. I used to have all the Fall albums on MP3 and I remember enjoying Bend Sinister. I used to listen to their music while driving to a job I hated, in a shitty northern English town, at the crack of dawn in the freezing rain, and it worked perfectly. Cheers, James

Hey Hanna. Great to see another update from you. You know I follow you on IG, but I’m always glad when you post a new video. Awesome you picked up Sister. Those Sonic Youth reissues sound really good to me. I have that same issue (I think) of X-Ray Spex, and mine doesn’t sound the greatest either. Noisy between tracks for sure. I had God Don’t Make No Junk on vinyl, but I’ve always been kind of wishy-washy on The Halo Benders so I traded it in years ago. I think the one you have there is a better album. This Nation’s Saving Grace is the only album I have by The Fall. I want more, but keep telling myself I’m only going to grab the albums if I see them in the wild. Well, I never see them, so that’s not working out too well. Ha. Some very nice VCLT! I hope you’re doing well. Dig the PiL hoodie. Cheers ✌🏻

Hi Jon! Ah, interesting to hear that you also notice imperfections with your X-Ray Spex Real Gone reissue. Now it makes me question what an acquaintance told me. They said their copy sounded amazing, same reissue. I think I'm gonna just mention it to Real Gone and see if I get a response. I dig the Sonic Youth reissues, too. I have Goo and Daydream Nation in addition and they are well done. This Nation's Saving Grace is one of the best from the Fall. I just have that one on CD. And yeah, the Fall are tough to find in the wild! A store here carries several of their reissues but I'm always hoping to find early presses! Hope you're well, too and I need to catch up on your latest episode of the top 200! Cheers!

Nice to see 'Bend Sinister' getting some love.
I've just finished reading Brix's book “The Rise, The Fall, The Rise” and I'm currently reading ex-Fall bassist Steve Hanley's memoir “The Big Midweek: Life Inside The Fall.” Both are great reads, especially Hanley's because his book is more about the band (he was in the Fall for almost 20 years).

Also, speaking of books, I think there's a new Pete Shelley book out that looks pretty interesting. Take care!

Hey Hanna, so many greats, you may remember Bowie is my all time greatest. All yours are great, esp Ziggy 72. It was once voted the greatest English rock record ever. The Heroes album i love a lot and longtime guitarist Carlos Alomar said it was his fave.. High praise that! Multi artist Laurie Anderson's Big Science is great, Nonesuch Records did lots of articles on it. Laurie was wife of the legendary icon Lou Reed who ive followed since 73. You got a special Japanese release of Eno's brilliant Tiger Mountain! I had some far out journeys with mates on that record, its far out genius though. Some regard it as his greatest album. One song, The True Wheel is so brilliant!! Thanks take care Hanna.

Hi Danny! Thanks for returning. Always appreciate the comments. Mm, Hunky Dory or Ziggy...which is my #1? Hard to say, hehe! Laurie Anderson was a pioneer. Quite innovative/unique and it's so cool that she was married to Lou Reed.
And oh, I love the first few Eno albums especially with more of a glam feel. What a genius! Totally agree with your sentiments on The True Wheel! Enjoy the weekend, my friend!

Thanks for another great video! Several great albums and artists there that I love. Byrds are long time favorites, I’d love an original mono copy of Notorous, but as you say, both rare and expensive. It wasn’t long ago I discovered Feelies and got my hands on their third album. Probably my fave of those I have listened to. Don’t let the negative people get to you, there are far more positive people around here who loves your videos. Regarding the editing, I do the same, rambling on and on top of it I sometimes has difficulties expressing myself due to the language barrier. Always a happy surprise to see a new video from you. Sorry to hear that you won't be posting as much on RUclips. Today, you inspired me to get out my copy of 'At First Sight Violets Are Blue' by The Stems. Maybe you can do an Aussie band-focused video sometime down the road? If you don't already have it in your collection, I'd highly recommend 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang' by The Celibate Rifles. One of my very favorite punk albums (recorded live at CBGB's back in 1986). Great to see The Undertones getting positive coverage. I must be one of the few people who still enjoy those last two albums. A band who progressed rapidly and then, like a lot of the best groups, they broke up. Feargal Sharkey is now the most high profile campaigner to protect England's rivers against pollution. He has his work cut out just now as the UK government (responsible for the laws affecting England's rivers) would rather permit raw sewage to be pumped into the rivers than make the required long term investment in the country's drainage infrastructure. US readers might detect similarities.

Highlights for the iconic albums Nirvana-Nevermind (1991) that was part of my teenage years in the early 90's and New Order-Power, Corruption & Lies (1983) one of the best records of all time. Tears For Fears-Songs From The Big Chair (1985) I love it! For me, David Bowie (1947-2016) was a musical genius that I miss so much and these albums The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and The Spiders From Mars (1972), Station to Station (1976), Let's Dance (1983) and Heroes (1977) are just a few examples and I also agree that Hunky Dory (1971) is one of his masterpieces. Listen to some of the interview and you will hear that his voice still has that same sort of strained timbre that you hear on the records. Rock on Feargal.

I just watched a few of his interviews regarding environmental activism. What a cool dude standing up for what's right and calling for change. Fergle - helps me a lot re: the pronunciation. Thank you so much, Doug. Happy you're here! Rock on!

Lots of good records. Try and find Laurie Anderson's Home of the Brave, it's a great record. Don't let the RUclips trolls get you down. I just ignore their posts.

Hey there! Ah, another recommendation for Laurie's Home of the Brave! I believe some mentioned that on my IG post. Thank you for the warm words. Positivity prevails, along with music! :-)

Hi Hannah, I think The Notorious Byrd Brothers is their best album and it almost surprises me to say it. Or maybe it's Younger Than Yesterday. "Jesus had a twin who knew nothing about sin..." Sister is the best SY album, IMHO. I think the album baby has a giant Nivana tattoo on his back. As long as you wanna keep posting YT videos, I'll watch them. ✌
    Noisy vinyl sucks

Hey Robert. Seems a few others are also with us on Notorious Byrd Bros being the favorite! For a while Younger Than Yesterday was my #1. However, my favorite Byrds track is still "It Won't Be Wrong" and not on either of those! Sister from SY is full of fire, isn't it? So ahead of its time. I will keep posting on YT! Thanks for always joining in and leaving me a comment!

Hi H…I looked up loveless on eBay eeech$$. At least I have the cd. Cool mono byrds. It may be the clear vinyl that’s the problem with the xray lp.although I had the same problem with a new kid a copy and that was black.exchanged it and it’s fine. Color vinyl is cool but I stick to black if possible. Nice pil shirt too.
To heck with yt hater commenters. No room for that in the vc ✌️

Thanks, J! Yeah, originals of Loveless are $$$! I'm lucky to have one and also this new reissue! Glad you have the CD. Such an otherworldly album, right? Yeah, it definitely could be the clear vinyl. If I'm going to be honest, I'm just not a fan of colored vinyl in general. I've had many bad colored vinyl experiences now to where I just prefer to get black vinyl if I have the choice. Thanks as always for your loyalty and friendship! :-) Glad you finally saw the Sparks Bros movie!
