Nip’s funeral wasn’t at The Forum, it was held at The Staples Center… I just wanted to clarify that
Thanks
There’s a lot of misinformation out there. Akademiks do a lot of that.
Thanks

Law 15.
I think Urban X forgot that Drake had a video first for Family Matters. Between Funk Flex, you guys, and Akademiks, it makes the bias look crazy for the eastcoast. Nobody seems to put the entire battle into focus. I expected better from the Decoder. Please check the entire battle from beginning to end and then give the best opinion, please.
We said the video AFTER the concert MIGHT be too much. Please watch and LISTEN slowly. And if you want to go back to the beginning we spoke very clearly about what we thought and in the title of the video again we said he buried Drake so miss us with the bias talk
@@malcombowser4335 yeah but a pizza party...that's not what that was...be careful of your criticisms because you have to start somewhere.. hopefully that energy of brotherhood will continue...we got a lot of gangs in NYC I don't see you or your pops working to try to get them to stop killing one another...let us support our brother kdot and not be so quick to criticize...that's all

It’s not about the record anymore in LA, it’s about the energy it created..it’s called “together” if they do a video to bring them “together,” let them do it, if a concert brings them “together,” let them do it, anything that brings LA Gangs “together” let them do it.
😂 I respect y'all opinions but I respectfully disagree. At the end of the day, it’s 1 West. Whats understood on the West need not be explained. Y'all be great East Coast!
As a Cali transplant of almost 30 years, and who granted has only listened to 10 minutes, I find the whole point of what happened on that stage being missed here. Juneteenth wasn’t about morality. It wasn’t about Drake or a beef per se. It was about culture. Unity. Higher Infinite Power Helping Our People. It was about the Aquarian Age and a shift in consciousness. I may be reaching but on a deeper spiritual level this is what I believe the culture is feeling!
I agree ! And I don’t think you are reaching at all
Respectfully brothers I disagree that Kendrick is over doing it. This is victory lap time. When Drake was saying “you tryna let this sh*t die down nah nah nah” and kept poking the bear for a response, it was cool then. But now that the bear is awake tearing up the entire camping grounds it’s excessive? No sir. I’m not only stomping out a dead horse but I’m bringing a moment to the west coast. A moment that the west hasn’t seen in decades. This is the mind of Kendrick Lamar in a vacuum. I’m not mad at him at all for how he’s handling this situation. When Drake went on tour dissing Meek, nobody said it was excessive. Had memes all over the Jumbotron performing Back To Back literally back to back in multiple cities. Everything comes back full circle 🤷🏾♂️
Side note: Imagine not filming a video for the biggest rap song in the country. Not like us is EVERYWHERE! A video is too much? Naw man. A video is necessary
The song is going triple platinum in a few weeks and has been in the top 10 for 2 months. HBCU bands have already sheeted the music. There is no logical reason why he wouldn’t do a video. And furthermore, Kendrick told that dude in Euphoria that he was going to go full Thanos on him if he talked about his family. He warned him multiple times and basically called his woman a hoe and said his son wasn’t his. He’s lucky all he’s doing is dropping a video because everyone from his camp has stood on business that not one lie was told he and that he was ready to drop more bombs.
Don’t confuse morals with morale
I think you guys successfully threw a wet blanket - on an awesome concert
Both of you really need to listen Kendrick’s album Mr Morale …everything Kendrick is doing to Drake he already did to himself and even goes as far as admitting his flaws of cheating on his wife and he declares on there that he is NOT your saviour
A song on there called Mother I Sober is the original Meet The Grahams based on himself, his family and Black trauma
He not attacking him for being half white, he attacking him for not being from the AA culture.
??????
But shouldn't that mean that Kendrick should call out..all of the non African American ppl involved in hip hop....including the folks that he is signed to ?

@joelbreezy3116 ok. Here we go.
Kendrick was dissing Drake specifically, that's who he's beefing with. It's not about him being half white, it's not even about him being from Canada. It's about him not be an American but hopping from city to city assuming identities that aren't his including the mafioso thug persona he adopted.
It's not a treatise about the whole industry. Just Drake. That's who he's dissing. Pretty simple conceptually, no?

Respectfully, and I mean this respectfully, from the reactions I have seen online, it seems like the ones that have the most issue or have been doing the most picking apart to the Pop Out are those from the east….I dare say New York. Just my observation. The concert was a moment, yes. It was unity, yes. I dare to say maybe more unity from the west coast artists that night than the 5Oth Hip Hop Celebration. I get that there are politics within hip hop but why not take the concert for what it was, a concert. The west coast looked alive that night. Some of the mental gymnastics to over explain, dissect and redirect is looking alittle like hate. Kendrick responded to the battle and this is how he fought and won it. That’s all.

We know enough of Kendrick transgressions minus all the industry rituals they all be doin (if you think I think Kendrick ain do stuff I do) ... he literally made an album of this and has said on many records he not Mr. Perfect. Hell. Drake actually had some better angles on that he couldn't execute that woulda been more effective but he still loses.
The DV angle on Dre is fair and I ain't defendin that but bruh Dre is a West Coast legend and has owned it and people do give second chances so long as nothing new comes out (sadly it was also a sista and we know who Malcolm said the most unprotected person is). Drake is the one claiming he don't deal with women beaters but had to settle a sexual assault case for over $300K to a sista and employs Baka, a convicted woman beater but even UX keeps running with a DV thing on Kendrick rooted on an obscure blog with no corroboration eh? Like at some point we can call a spade a spade and I got no issues with making Kendrick prove that daughter stuff since if he wrong on that it's a bad look on just that point but the battle been won.
The Bobbi Althoff thing issa chess move against Drake which the West Coast is known for doin see Eazy E videos and Death Row videos ... and while I wish YG and em hadn't let her rep sets and stuff that's just how kneegrows be globally around yt folk. It is still a diss song and Drake really got beef with Bobbi over sumn.
Kendrick ain't gotta be careful bout nothing on that PDF File ... follow that Mark Hotel rabbit hole alone and it gets interesting the stuff that was going on there AND we know good and damn well why Drake, them real estate agents, boules, and elites of all hues who do PDF File stuff not behind bars. That industry is full of em and I'm sorry but if we want to act like mid 30 year old dudes conversating with girls as young as 14 about dealing with boys is simply that or all he doin is grooming then aight bet. Pac never proved he messed with Faith but enough bread crumbs of plausibility that it works for us.

It is difficult for Black Americans from NYC because they are so detached from Black American culture. They have a race mindset versus a cultural mindset. Ayye what about in Meet The Grahams Kendrick sent a warning to two of the biggest and worldwide known athletes, Bron and Steph. We see Bron showed up and Steph didnt, I know it can be a reach but it could mean something
'Dre... I see dead people' was the opening line of Game's 'One Blood' diss track
Trivia...Did you know Drake is Larry Graham..nephew.. ?
When comes to the whole moral thing. Kendrick put all his dirt out there on the last album, Mr.Morale & The Big Steppers. Plus, he has always said he is not perfect and he's no one's savior. And YG told Bobbi to not say what's brakin just say hi.
Tower of Babel all over again smh
That FBA WAVE is serious!
It’s really evident you all don’t listen to Kendrick’s music. NY’ers are generational haters as well.
Man, fellas you guys really lost your square with assessing this battle. You were wrong to predict Drake would win the “war”. Trying to have some validity with that point you kind of dug a deeper hole. Kendrick is very transparent about self actualization in his music, please, please tune up.
The war hasn’t started… the battle is still going on…
@@UrbanXTV much love Dot ( I can tell when it’s Malcolm lol) but no. We all take an L don’t keep floating on that sinking ship
We likey !!!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
K dot King of hip-hop
Facts!!!
Maybe somewhere in the back of your mind but the king he will never be
I like this type of urban x content. Great idea. Keep doing it. 🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁🏁
Nah you gotta do a video. But we all know in the long run, Drake will be fine cuz he's here for the knuckle draggers and 85%. But it was good to see David beat Goliath and that conviction & integrity can be used as inspiration for everbody
Yall thinking too hard smh
*Drake is tied with MJ #1 hit records and I don't think the industry will let him pass that record.*
MJ earned his spot honestly. Drake used other people's creativity and talents with the support of the music industry elites who created a false narrative and false persona known as Drake.
Drake will never be on MJ level nobody how many records he sells. No real credibility and I always said he was an industry plant.
@@777OGU of course he will never be on MJ level musically. The point is Drake cockiness while tying MJ record has rub the industry the wrong way.
@@patsnation8427 I think the industry wanted him to surpass MJ but that FBA Wave and Junetenth Ancestral Energy is too strong and destroyed anything fake and counterfeit.
Nice statistic but very misleading. They didn't count number 1 hits in the early and mid part of the 1970's.
And MJ has many Number 1 hits under the Jacksons/Jackson 5 name, not directly under his solo career.
Plus MJ had way more competition , unlike today there are only about 10 artists played on radio every hour on the hour
Lastly MJ only had 7 Studio albums...one of them came out after he passed. Drake has had 8 Albums and multiple Mixtapes
YG brought Bobbi to Compton not Kendrick she wont be in that video at all. Kendrick cant really stop YG from doing what he wants.
Love these, keep these shorts going!!
We also listening to goofys!
Dope!!!... Communicating with the peeps.
