voting wasn't everything sweetie: global domination or "international popularity" gave bts the artist of the year, exo's amazing album and votes and sales gave them album of the year, and wanna one? they conquered korea this year, 4 months into debut, and that gave them best rookie and best male group. Hey I'm Paula they are truly have achieved a lot in Korea but this is not only about Korea but Asia !! So yes , dance wise, album sales, international popularity , achievement wise as well , both BTS and EXO do deserve the award , and in the previous MAMA , a group or nominee can win both categories the best group and one of the biggest 3 Daesangs , its not like unusual !! Have nothing to say if WO won best rising star or whatever but I find them do not deserved this award when other groups specially EXO and BTS still producing hits , active and being nominated !

BTS KINGS OF IDOLS I am Kpoper since 2008! It’s not only I know about MAMA but witnessed myself its unfairness over years when I participated on voting & followed many Artists ! and It’s not like the award will belong to me but I am talking about the fairness ! This is my personal opinion has nothing to do with any fandom! Then about the latest news of SM & YG action taken against MAMA ! you can see many of their fans supporting this decision! Why ?! Because they experienced the unfairness themselves!
This and Twice winning female best dance group (or something along that line) are the the most confusing moments at MAMA this year. Gfriend or Red Velvet without a doubt should have won best dance group just like EXO or BTS should have won best boy group. No shade to Twice or Wanna One as I like both groups but everyone including the artists themselves had a “wtf” surprised face.
