This is rad, I got into these guys around 2011 when I was 16 after hearing "Lights Out" on jackass. I always wanted to hear this cause I saw the cover but at the time I couldn't find it on YT. Feels like yesterday lol
Its always amazed me that millions more men, women and children have never been introduced, heard nor familiar with any/all of the Angry Samoans catalog. Hopefully in the near future they will finally get the recognition, rewards and ca$h they certainly deserve!!!!!
saw them when i was 13 in santa cruz hella good show. i was like whos this old guy hanging around and it was metal mike , ended up buying 3 tapes at the merch table and wore this one out
My review on Allmusic.com written January 26, 2018. 5 Stars The entry on Allmusic.com was the reissue with bonus cuts making it a full length album. My rating is of the original EP. The first six songs of this LP were originally released in 1980 on Bad Trip Records as the great Inside My Brain EP. "Gimme Sopor" is my favorite track but it is hard to deny that all six cuts are first rate. Snotty attitude powers the EP's great songs. The rest of this particular full length reissue is pretty good live cuts and demos. Metal Mike and The Angry Samoans were definitively one of the premiere California Punk bands. Without a doubt.

They are sadly slept on, one in many of the first punk bands I heard in the mid 80s
