Thunderstorm is a very good weather, and while the weather setter is pretty good, There aren't many loomians to utilize it. SB Dakuda is pretty good, and a magnify Ikazune and SA Phagenaut can be very powerful as well, and SB Joltooth, enough said, but most of the other electric loomains are either defensive or can just pivot in and out, which doesn't make you utilize weather that well.
thunderstorm is so strong it caused a power outage while im in battle
Also, to add on to this, Rain Teams are great to use in singles actually, Fog has an amazing weather effect that can really change the game, and while strong Gusts sucks, having a ×4 Expert Onslaught Morphezu and SB Stratusour on your team is pretty OP. Heatwave and Thunderstorms are tough to use in singles currently.
It'll get better when the 8 turn weather items get added

Heatwave is very hard for singles since most loomians that benefit from heat are slow and need bane of haste set up

t-strike sb strat with magnify works pretty well in doubles, being able to get +6 in just two turns with jump start and fake out from plasmoth!

But I hope Whippledriff's removed ability, Compliant, makes a return.
Would make for a niche doubles ability.

Icl I used to think that thunderstorm was a dumb idea for it being able to ground air types,but it kinda makes sense now(the birds get scared so they land,hoping to not get stuck by lightning)

Keep firebreath on zuelong or it gets outclassed
If it gets frostbeam it can be a solid wallbreaker and could punish earth types and plant types even harder. In my opinion frostbeam could be better than firebreath because it can hit more things super effectively and punish walls like florant and dangerous loomians like gargolem.
