  • The friends and I took a trip down to Pismo Beach to check out the Oceana Dunes, the only place you can ride on the beach in all of California. Crossing the river inlet was a little sketchy but we all made it across without any issues. Riding on the beach is great and the views are hard to beat but it's sad how much of the dunes are shut down now. All in all a great time and looking forward to the next trip already.

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! My truck isn't actually in this video at all, all the river crossings were just random people that were going across while I had the drone out :)

SoCal to Baja cal Ah my apologies I didn't know exactly which you were referring to. The Dodge Ram is a 3500 but that one isn't mine either :P I have the grey F150 at the back of the trailer :D

Thanks Paul! I have a DJI Phantom 4 Pro and I use Adobe Premiere Pro to edit my videos! I'm still very new and have tons to learn. Headed to Sand Mountain in NV in October hope to put together another video from there.

@@jeremycole32 awesome. I have a mavic but haven't learned how to edit much. I'll probably be going to sand mountain this year too I heard it's sick

Nice the mavics are just as nice. Editing takes a lot of practice for sure I still have so much to learn even after putting together all these videos. Definitely need to make a trip to SM, the main dune is unbelievable.

I'm thinking about getting a side by side but the only thing that's stopping me is if I have more fun on my dirtbike than a side by side what's your thoughts

    • @jeremycole32

I rode dirtbikes when I was younger (early/mid teens) and quads in my early/mid 20s and the rzr now the last 3 years, they are each super fun in their own way. Half the fun of the SxS is the ability to ride with friends/family seated next to you, let's you experience things with others. You can have your music blasting, a cooler in the back with some beers and make a fun day trip out of it. They are also extremely versatile, whether it's the dirt, sand, rock crawling, mud pits, snow, they really can do anything and everything. Just get a turbo and you won't be disappointed in the thrill factor I promise you that. I also wouldn't say sell your dirtbike as the sxs can do everything a dirtbike can, because that certainly wouldn't be the case. Having one of each would be the dream

chooch depends on what your body is able to handle and where you’ll be riding

yes great points here I'm in my mid 20s and I can honestly say I'm still a speed head I want that Adrenalin feeling but as for where I'm going to ride it I go to pismo yearly and live in a small town with lots of farm land

I know my turbo governor kicks in at 83, it's more than fast enough for me but I'm not as much a speed head :)

It was a pretty quiet weekend with the weather we were having, we got lucky and it just happened to clear up for the most part while we were there.
