Did my heart good to see that you don't have the most expensive cues they make. Just goes to show that it really is the player and not the equipment that makes the difference.
I use a 314 second generation myself and love it so much. It’s cool to know players of your caliber use really good shafts instead of the revo etc…. It goes to show it’s more about the player than having the most expensive equipment
I'm still using my Meucci Original I purchased around 1990. Meucci's were 'the' cue back in the day. I think Skyler Woodward uses a Meucci. Not sure how prevalent they are on the pro circuit today what with all the black shaft golly gee whiz cues available today. Darren, pretty sure you could grab a house cue with a decent tip and play pretty much as well as you do with your Predator cue.
I play with an old Predator Quiet Roller 2 with a 314² shaft and a Tiger Everst tip. I have several cues that were way more expensive, including two customs, but I always go back to the tried and true QR2.
thanks for the video Darren ...would you help finding the brake cue tip ...could not find the Aries guy on a Facebook ..but want to get the brake cue tip that you got ...
Excellent video as always. I love the set and accessories. I myself prefer Tiger Tips, especially the Sniper and Onyx. I also have the Emerald which also hits extremely well.
Hi champ hope to see you again here in the phils. And to work as ref in your game, last time we meet at gensan drinking some beers, your still using predators cue, good luck to your coming games
I just ordered my sniper tip been using the onyx for about 8 months just want to try it out since you said it grabs a little better hopefully i get the same results !
Greetings Master Appleton... Actually, I would like to use some of such cues cause they seem to be great as I was using Chinese LP Cues (one was 11.5mm tip & the other at 10mm) which I used to play exceptional well with it as most of the tables here at home is normal table (Blackball & 8Ball tables)... Now, will like to know whether it is a greatest to use such of cues like yours on 8Ball/Bleckball..? Reason for me to want something similar is being unique as I believe you got to adjust! And mostly here in 🇿🇦 we using snooker cues (cosmic/viper cues/and I am using Crystal Cues 😍)
Sniper soft medium works perfect for me Onyx more a medium feel little more grab than a sniper Everest medium sort of in between the two Emerald never used one
@@dynamiteappleton Btw, based on your recommendation I recently went with a Sniper and absolutely love it.. and I'm pretty particular about equipment as well. -God bless.
Hello darren.. I know maybe its not the right channel to ask this about.. But im new here in the UK.. Im here in London.. Where do you think can i go to if I want to play money games on 9ball and 10ball here in London??.. Thanks in advance.. 🙂
Hi sir darren , im an avid fan of yours from philippines , would be so happy if I can sign an autograph from you ❤️ but would be so glad if you can donate me some of your old spare cues 🙂 Godbless always and Goodluck on future games ❤️

Sniper

Hello, if the but aspire is a mini radial, how do you fit the shaft 3142,?I think is not available with this joint. Thanks.
Do you have a link for the London bridge rest?
its nice to see you with no expensive predator cue, but the Normal Radial joint fits perfect with mini Radial ????, Aspire line looks nice

No good for 8ball etc balls too small
Darren,
What's the difference between the Sniper, Onyx, Emerald, & Everest?
Thank you very much.

Why do you play with a 314 and not a revo?
Awww, nobody did your What's In The Bag so you did it yourself. That's cute.
I have that Trusplice.
I think it's a real shame that you can't buy the 314/2 anymore. For me the best shaft, unfortunately mine is broken 😔
I didn't notice much difference switching to the 314-3. And I've been real happy with the 12.4 Revo.

Have you tried using the Z shaft? The likes of Filler and Biado use these I believe. I myself use the 314-2 shaft as well. Great Vid!
I think Biado used vantage.
No 314-2
How much do you charge
@@earlross1199 hi , depends if you local or not and if not I only do group clinics etc
I wonder what weight he likes to use?
18-19oz
