One of the best violinists living these days going into the depth of techniques and share with us 😭😭 thank you internet, thank you Kerson!!! You are the best :D
Bro when he said hello it scared me so bad. I was just listening to his playing and then it's like hello. No hate he just scared the crap out of me love his voice lol
Thank you very much for teaching the techniques!!!!! I never get ricochet until now. I'm going to try it with your method. greetings from Spain. I love your sound and your voice!!
This is incredibly helpful, thank you! Do you know any books that deal with teaching yes like this? I’m looking for exercises to practise the ricochet in various contexts. Or perhaps a piece of music to get started on? Thank you :)
Thanks so much!! Could I please ask what pad you use on your violin’s back? You look so comfortable, and I’m still looking for my ideal setup without a shoulder rest.. thanks ❤️
When you refer to tension, is it the normal and usually very slight incremental tension that goes with a sudden bow stroke, or a more perceptible stiffening of the elbow and/or wrist and/or fingers?
Wonderful, how Kerson uses the word ‘we’ in his videos, ‘we can try and incorporate…’, ‘we might find it useful…’ The way though in which he can control the bow (and everything else to do with violin playing) makes me feel as if he’s playing an entirely different instrument to what I’m fumbling around on here…. 😕 Will now go looking for another vid on bow control, and in particular of the use of the different fingers on the bow stick. Thought I had it pretty much nailed, but hell no :(
Haha hes voice always surprises me
I expected high pitchef

Thank you! This gives so many ideas to experiment with in such a short video.
Your voice ☺️
What microphone do you use to record these videos?
A portable Sony recorder (now discontinued) - similar would be the Zoom products.
KersonLeong may i ask what model of this sony recorder?

The former.

If you don't make it as a violinist, you can always do voice-overs for movie trailers. "One man... one violin..."
Very useful 👍
Thank you!

That's what thought too! A deeper voiced and more intensed version of Eddy!
I thought Eddie too! This guy's voice is so low!
