Thank you for this video! I'm new to high end pc gaming and have wanted to play American truck simulator for a long time, and I plan on getting this wheel and heard mixed stuff about setting it up so this vid will help me get to know my wheel setup, again thanks. See you on the road!
Man ATS is the worst setting up than any other game I had. Its so buggy and complicated. For some reason my mouse arrow is always going down and I have to press my accelerator pedal down for the mouse to go up and also my shifter doesn’t work. I had it all set up on me old PC and now gotta figure it all over again.
Yes that is a button you designate for that. Just like in a real truck they only have 6 gears on their shifter as well but they have a switch that will switch it to a second bank of 6 gears and a 3rd set of 6 gears so it's a toggle you set up to tell the game which set you are using. So normal would be gears 1-6 and hit a button to switch it to 7-12 etc. Hope this helps
When i go to game controllers, pick my wheel (g920), go to properties, settings, calibrate, it barely lets me turn my wheel, its stiff and doesnt wanna rotate left or right, only like an inch or 2 thats it. If i turn it any further either direction i feel like ill break the fuckin thing. Why is this? Or is it supposed to be like that?
Yeah that doesn't sound right. Adjust your force feedback down or maybe turn it off at first. The game likes to crank the force feedback way up at first

Thanks man, I was having trouble with it before, thank you for showing the USB setup, I didn't know that existed appreciate it
Np glad it helped! I know it took me awhile to find some settings that worked to my liking

The force feed back slides are blacked out it and i can move them
My shifter won’t shift
Hmmm Strange. Make sure everything is plugged in tightly. When inside the game make sure when you set the buttons that it recognizes it
Can you tell me what the joy button 11 is? I only have 6 gears and none of them register as joy button 11. Same setup as you.

Hey brotha I am having issue with the brakes engaging while I left off the gas what’s up with that ?
I'm not sure. I would recalibrate everything. If that doesn't work may want to google it and see if anyone else is having this issue. Good luck!
👌
