I'm watched this while making gravestones out of polystyrene for Halloween! He was a very much loved character in film, Tv, and life. Very sadly missed.

Thanks Paul for this one I miss George Cole, Dennis Waterman and Glynn Edwards without them you wouldn't have Minder. Like you Paul I was a huge Minder fan RIP all of them
A great actor George Cole. Irreplaceable like so many. I liked the picket fencing and archways at the beginning. Liked all the things he was in and a handsome fella when he was young and as an older man. We had a friend who was the image of Dennis Waterman as a younger man. Thank you Paul as always.
Reading is my home town . My grandad killed at Dunkirk is buried in the war memorial , The cemetery has gone down hill since which is a shame. George Cole was a favourite actor of mine and my dad's. Loved Minder. Thank you for visiting Reading cemetery Paul .
P.s I forgot to mention that the large building you pointed to had something to do with the BBC ,but not sure if its still in use or not these days ?..
Dear old George Cole. A long time ago, can't remember how long, I was walking down the side of Harrods, Knightsbridge. There was this very familiar and dapper chap, standing on the street talking to a lady. She asked him "Is it really you?". And he said "yes", with that tell-tale little grin he had. I walked on until it dawned on me I'd just seen George Cole/Arthur Daley, and walked straight past him. Too late, he'd gone, they move like lightning. Also outside Harrods that day, there was a well-known newscaster sneaking between the pillars inside a building, so as not to be seen. Knowing who that person was, he was on his way to see the Harrods boss.
Love George Cole, what a great actor he was. I love Minder. I have an Arthur Daley dealership sticker in the rear window of my 80s Jag. Flash Harry is another favorite of mine.
Hi Paul, Another great video. Well done for still making this film despite no memorial plaque to show us, true dedication to the cause! Obviously, George Cole is best remembered for Minder and as you point out he had roles in my many other productions in film, radio and TV. One show you didn’t mention that sticks in my mind is ‘A Blot on the landscape’ where he played Sir Giles Lynchwood, very funny! A synopsis can be found on Wikipedia for anyone that isn’t familiar with this TV comedy drama. Anyway, as always, keep ‘em coming! Best wishes, Mark
Such a brilliant actor and was so loved in Minder. He did make me laugh as Flash Harry in the Trinian's film which I had seen when I was a child. Lovely video again Paul. Respect and love given x

It's very sad there's no grave / memorial plaque but everyone is entitled to their own wishes. Thank you Paul a lovely video and once again being very respectable keep up the good work and your great videos.

Hi. Thanks for the upload. I don't know when you recorded this, but my partner & I visited Reading Cemetery/Crematorium earlier this year & last year. The 1st time we visited was to look for him. We phoned the company why own the Cemetery & they informed us they own 3 in the area & could 100% confirm he isn't in any of them. The family took the ashes away If I'd known, I could have told you.
Always been a fan of George, particularly growing up with Minder in the 70s and 80s. I collect signed autobiographies. George's "My world was my lobster" sits proudly in my collection.
That was really good Paul. I loved George Cole, my favourite was a film he was in where he owned a large house Prunell Scales played his house keeper, her brother died in a fire in part of the house. George’s relative comes to live with him and meets ghost from the past. It’s a lovely film. It’s when George was older. I remember many of the films and dramas he was in. Thank Paul ✨✨✨✨✨✨
