Installation of a waterproof storage/infiltration system with Rigofill inspect modules for stormwater retention and storage.
Stormwater harvesting and infiltration play a decisive role in our age of climate change and increased occurrence of heavy rainfalls. Paved surfaces disrupt the natural water cycle since the accumulating stormwater can no longer infiltrate in a natural way. FRÄNKISCHE advocates responsible stormwater management, and implements its solutions also for the construction of its own Western Plant industrial premises.
To create a waterproof system for stormwater storage, the Rigofill inspect storage/infiltration modules have been wrapped in protective geotextile and impermeable plastic membrane (KDB) to make them watertight. The accumulating stormwater can be collected in this RigoCollect system to be subsequently used, e.g., for fire water provisioning.
Measures of stormwater infiltration, treatment and discharge have been planned for the entire construction project, and a well thought-out combination of storage/infiltration systems, treatment facilities and throttle shafts has been installed.
