There is also a case to be made that LISTED small and medium cap stocks are not representative of the entire MSME sector. The latter may or may not continue to grow as the former (listed stocks are the cream of the crop, even for small caps - there's very little market penetration in India as a percentage of all companies which are eligible for listing)
the 5% growth is partially due to usd -> INR depreciation rate of 4%. so while real value of USD is massively depreciating, INR is depreciating even more. So statistically only 1 - 1.5% growth rate ! but the real growth rate may well be negative. Big issues, is that we can not even provide electricity or water to our Industrial areas and manufacturing hubs, there is rampant corruption and the govt. attitude is lackadaisical .
The official hindu growth rate is actually less than what was first described which is 3.5, we're seeing 5.5 because this hindutva government has simply changed parameter of calculating GDP
This is the best we can hope while we have a half-literate govt.
2% aspirational and 90% freebies demographic dividend

Isn’t the term Hindu rate of growth racist. What if one would use such a term for population growth. Would that be acceptable ?
