Definitely some hot sauce right here.
I will not like this comment because the number of likes is 666, but pretend I liked it
@@VitorColmanMusic SaTaN!1!! YeAH I'm a RebEL!1!! NotICE Me!!!11!!!!!!!oneoneone!!
Still listening after 8 years
I just found this
How he has enough brain capacity to sing and remember the words all while doing that amount of guitar work is a skill all on its own.
and THAT is why you should never underestimate the power of hammer-ons and pull-offs when practicing guitar
guardianasgaard best comment
Man I can listen to this a million times
I already did
the vocals are fucking hilarious i love it
RandomAccessMemory Sounds a bit like Primus doing a cover of Seasons. There's the slap element and the goofy vocals.
Doin
i like primus a lot so that explains why i enjoy this
it's just regular, normal
Seasons in the bliss
His singing surprised me, it was so calm and jazzy
We're filming Megadeth's 'Killing Is My Business' and Rammstein's 'Sehnsucht' in a few weeks.
Can’t wait!

@@nate1451 As they should!
He is FANTASTIC. Period. And yes, he is also a good vocalist. This is an intentional vocal effect that he is using.
The way he syncopates the drumming with the guitar is brilliant. Genius. he really made the cover his own.
I dont think many people can play 'seasons in the abyss' on the guitar like this, with the hand drumming hes done. This is amazing
The solo is so good
as a fellow guitarist this guy has talent
What songs do you know ?
@@Nekuzir sure I do otherwise where's the fun in doing it
Solo parts are so creative, so alive. And he kept the Mai’s melodies and phrases incorporating shredding and all. Great job.
This is by far among the most amazing videos I have ever seen
Horns up. Fucking brutal.
4:17 Is the absolute fucking best rofl!
sure...
In typical Tom Araya fashion, fucking the words up 😂
The best moment of today was when i watched this incredible performance... bravoooooo
Fuck yeah.
Yeah!!! Slayer combined with inaudible whispers!! Love your videos and your taste in music! And remember... thrash or die!
Holy shit what's up asmrchick!
That's probably what hard work sounds like. Respect !
I dont have the correct words to describe how awesome this is! You are one talented dude. Still holds the brutal sound of the original.
I want to see a slayer unplugged show now
Buddy2502 dude voice is alelways unplugged
Unfortunately not all can be there, r.i.p
THIS IS ONE SPECIAL PERSON MAN KILLS IT NO MATTER WHAT!
Sam should do Holy Wars by Megadeth
That would be too hard, the rhythm on the lyrics is rather gard, and the riffs are fast and very hard, its too hard to memorise drumm rhythm changes with riff changes and vocal change...altho he has done kimb..so idk,
@@yuri-ub8kk this man can do anything he is literally playing seasons in the abyss on an acoustic while playing the drums and singing
A song of hope and peace.
love that he does like the whole song and not just a good minute of it.
Wow, this is beyond awesome. And the vocals were good :)
Prob just singing to fill the ''blanks''. He is so insanely good! GREAT!!!
He's not going to belt out some aggressive vocals with percussion acoustic it just wouldn't work
exactly
you never know
this is lomabardo all da way
Ha yeah it works. I do it all the time. When playing acoustic you can't rely on the guitar distortion to cover poor singing/screaming so to make it sound good is harder but it can sound great done right
Patrick Ruddell lets see a video then.
excellent cover - didn't know what to expect! was not disappointed
That was sick, gorgeous even
Watching these tunes played so well with the spoken lyrics is... enchanting!
Man! This is awesome! I like this art of covers.
I like slayer in any form! It's nice to hear it tuned down and see the nuances of the licks and lyrics stripped down to bare basics! This kid is amazing too!
The thumbs down are prob the metal heads who critique the hell out of music with no musical ability at all. I listen to metal, played in metal bands, and I still play acoustic music. You need an open mind when It comes to music. And sometimes good is just good no matter what format or genre. Good work man, nice cover.
Ive listened to this version more than the original
You made slayer sound like opeth. That's genius.
Can't beleive that you can also sing nicely too, you are just fucking gifted.
Kick in the AAASSS! AWESOME stuff!
A Class by itself
amazing
For those who gave thumbs down ... I think it's because you can do better.
thanks for the compliment
(just kidding)
Maybe I can, maybe I can't, I enjoid it!
@Clay Goeke
I like it. For me in Slayer's version, singing part is good, but it's still shit compared to the song intro.
Can we all just accept it's takes a near godly amount of skill to make any slayer solo sound even decent on an acoustic? And arguably he was able to keep the same feeling and haunting quality. I wish he did more slayer covers.
Well done...
Rip Jeff Hanneman...
Glad to read that! I think the others here that don't like how he sings this song can't appreciate how much fun he is having!
I dislike those 190 people that dislike this. You know, until you do this song for a cover doing percussion while playing chords and friggin notes on a acoustic guitar and singing decent and keeping in time and make no mistakes, and post it on youtube maybe I wont dislike you. (Oh and he was singing like that purpose)
Igerding10 maybe those 190 people genuinely dislike the video, ever think of that? get over yourself
chewynickerson True, good point. ^^ I was a little ticked off after reading some of the comments when I wrote that, wasn't really thinking too straight.
I love this interpretation of the old Slayer track, haunting. The line fumble towards the end of the song cracks me up every time. Top job Sam.👍👌
This is more Slayer than Slayer !
Sry, buddy. That's impossible!
NOOOO
I don't mind the voice... It's pretty impressive that he plays 3 things at the same time: vocals, guitar, and drums... Takes a lot of coordination to do it. Kudos.
I can't believe there is only one instrument :O
Anybody who can take an awesome thrash metal song and not only play it on an acoustic guitar, but also sing it in a mellow voice and make it sound good like this kicks butt! The original Slayer version kicks ass, but so does this guy's version!
213 idiots don't like this! What the hell is wrong with you? This guy is extremely talented!
+Doug Keen Maybe they wanted to reference that one awesome slayer song? ;)
+Skip van der Zwaan (Neverminded47) he didn't get the reference.
The talent is unquestionable but whether you enjoy and appreciate it is down to subjectivity.
If u don't like this it's not a matter of subjectivity, it's lack of taste for good music...
Andy BiancoBlu Learn what subjectivity is
Man this is fantastic. You make this sound like a warped/psych/alt romp. Brilliant. I hope you're still playing like this..
3:43 challenge accepted!
I'm fucked
That is the best acoustic cover I've ever heard. It's elemental nature really works with the tune, somehow makes it more sinister
That's pretty good. Is that Karpizzle?
Überweiss lmao. Jhofffilms are awesome
This is Slayers music in it's purest form, without distortion, the base music, and I still bang my Head to it ! Just shows the power of the music Itself can move you, I love the original heavy guitar, this just shows how the basic writing is so strong.
Singing while playing like that, shiet.
indeed
not really that hard to do once you have the song down. Once it becomes muscle memory, singing is easy to do over that because the playing is automatic.
either way, still super impressive! don't diminish his talents
Thunder Chicken I don't think the word "easy" can be used for anything he's doing in this video haha. I highly doubt you could do singular parts of this let alone all the crazy shit he is doing plus singing on top of that, without fucking up for the entire song! no fucking way you think that's "easy" so sit down you fool
no one is saying they can do it better, just making the true point that playing guitar as you sing is not that difficult once you have the actual playing down. Did you bother to read the whole thing before deciding to get offended by a random comment?
I never once said I could do it like this, but singing and playing guitar at the same time is pretty easy once you have the basics of the guitar down, as playing becomes muscle memory... and at that point it is easy.
The really impressive thing is how clear and precise he is when just using his left hand. Really angular riffs played to precision.
U r from hell....human can't play like thits.
Troll Trooper but why hell man?
@@mixgashaulass2988 because hells where all us metal heads live man
His Guitar playing is out of this world incredible.. He provides great content and sings in an enjoyable funny way. I look up to Sam so very much lmao. True Inspiration
And besides.. He isn't that terrible
This is fucking awesome!
soulless si.nos salimos de gustos dale 10 puntos mas por destreza... Osea... Guitarra percutiva, lleva perfectamente el compaz y no solo canta sino que entona en los armonicos!!!... Es muy habilidoso.
This has been here for 7 years, dude awesome arrangement and I was not expecting the lyrics also.
you should do a cover of repentless by slayer
Still
Relevant in 2020. Amazing job dude.
You are crazy and actually creepy, playing this song on an acoustic, and smiling while singing LOL, great, great playing man, keep it up XD
Dude, i can't stop watch this... im a Slayer fan, but now im your fan too !
your face remember me ratatouille
hahahahahahahahahahhahahhahahahahahahahhha
+Edy Wilkerson. xD
ahahahahaha
Lol.
Mario Psy :D :D :D ok mate, you won the internet today
Fell In love with this the moment he started!!! And that voice it might just be me but I loved it!!! I'm pretty sure I drooled over my keyboard. Loved it!!!!!
Ok
the only thing missing is that awesome araya's windmill..otherwise it's perfect...:-D
This is amazing. Even just for the guitar part alone, but if you factor in all the other stuff he adds to it it's a friggin' masterpiece.
WOW and he fucking sings it O.O WOW amazing
Absolully fantastic !!
woww vocal is so bloody brutal
I dont know what kind of vocals you'd really expect to hear on top of this but even attempting to sing on top of all that baffles me. I struggle with singing on top of just playing. I think it fits.
Просто супер=) вокал такой смешной только=))))) lol
Аха)))
Так то ж спецом походу, в своих песнях он норм поет
Andrey demidov я понимаю=) молодец парень.
Alexander Rybakov он даже Тул очень даже сносно смог отыграть на акустике, хотя Тул -фееричная мешанина стилей, никак не для акустики)))
Альберт Утябаев Тул, это который Слэйер?)))))
I've watched this a dozen times, I'm hooked. Best Slayer cover I've ever heard. Brilliant interpretation, amazing execution.
MYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY SHARONAAAAAAAAAA
That guy is doing sick work. Guitar, drums and even the singing is good.
dad your always lurking around on my gmail check this cover out !!!!!
champion lol
:P sweet
One could say he is SLAYING IT!
Tutorial please!
+Hari Varun good luck learning it!
chances are, if you can't figure out how to play this by ear then you won't be able to play it.
i love the chorus. This kind of cover is dope as well
Is this Frank Woodley's kid?
Literally the coolest thing I've ever seen! Wow!
damn those 150 dislikes.
THIS IS AWESOME
Crazy styles... Dig it!
I can't listen to the original anymore, this is so much more how it should have been o.o
you are overreacting dude... :D
Xd
Right on🤘✨
He sings like this on purpose. Duh...
Your stupid
Dara You both are.
He is one of a kind, not many cant play and percussion and in the same time sing the texts in totally time with that hard to play making cover style that he has. Very good
alex misko, last video - dream within a dream
yo u sir are not of this planet like an aussie buckethead
Do you play guitar im having trouble hooking up to talk to you
pamela ard
pamela ard
pamela ard i do but im not even remotely that good
*AS BUCKETHEAD PICKS HIS JAW UP FROM THE FLOOR
my new favorite. I can't express myself, about how talented you are. You sang that song with a straight face. wow. That is all.
OMG he's not singing just like Tom Araya so that makes it horrible!!
Okay, I said it. Am I trendy, now?
It's so amazing. Everytime I watch this video, I can't believe to listen to a mix of Metal, Flamenco, and Blues. Congratulations from a guitarist. :-)
un genio con la viola, pero nunca tenias que haber cantado
jajajajaja es cierto
MUY jajajajajaja
no iba a oírse bien con la letra cantada de la misma forma que en la original
best acoustic cover ever heard of slayer!!! Genius of hard band sounds on only one instrument and soft voice fits perfectly!!!!
You got a gift and a gift is not singing
WHY U HERE?
I am honestly blown away. Well done, young man.
This is amazing minus the singing lol
So this guy is doing vocals guitar and drumming with his hand at he same time....... The amount of practice and concentration is unbelievable O.o and to keep the rhythm in check.
