Welcome to the Baja Bison time trials. 24 racers are challenging the mountain to determine the pole position. Today, we introduce the second group of competitors.

I think the Big Mike's Bison's paint scheme resembles that of a clown fish, ala Nemo 😁
You are exactly right!! It came with orange windows, then the orange wheels went on for a laugh and a random 7 year old said "Is that Nemo?"
So we painted it like Nemo 🐡

I wish it was easier to find out how to submit a car for the next race/tournament/challenge. I've searched and searched, but obviously have not found the right page.

Hi Steve. I don't know if I've explained how to go about this, so forgive me if you've read a message like this before. Step 1 is to create an account in redlinederby.com. Many diecast racing hosts list upcoming tournaments there. That's also how to sign up. I recommend you join the GTR Facebook page because I give the first heads up about my future plans. I announced the Bison tournament way back in February, so don't kick yourself for missing it. Hope this helps. -Mark @ GTR

If you reverse the video, the cars would drive forward.
One of my very first experiments was to film and reverse it for a hill climb. Unfortunately, it didn't look quite as realistic as I'd hoped. I thought it looked believable with Koatiq Racing's bison hurrying to the starting line.
I have a feeling that our "Nemo" got lost on the way to 42 Wallaby Way, Sydney.
He must have lost poor ol Dory on his ocean journey to Shavano Mountain (she knows the way)....either that or hes trying to set another slow time 😴

I agree. I thought of the Paris-Dakar rally, too. Google says that Baja Bison was modeled after the Dakar T4 truck.
