I am an old fart and I'm so glad I stumbled upon this band. Love their sound and energy.
Did anybody else notice how the keyboardist was also playing a trumpet? when he was playing the keyboard he put the trumpet between his legs. that man is very talented.
Holy funky... the drums.. wtf? The horns.. shut up.. guitar solo.. possessed... Vocals.. kill ... backup...sweeet.. tightest live funk performance on the tube..
I like how the rest of the band looks like stars and the singer looks like they kidnapped the guy serving drinks and made him sing.
Damn i miss these guys :( thank you for all the countless nights of great live music all across the country. Definitely one of those bands where when you watch them live all you can think is "Damn, everyone on that stage is so damn talented."
This drummer shows more talent with a snare, bass, and Hi-hat than most drummers can do with a whole room full of hardware.

Lost my lighter late night on a beach in R.I. found this one in place of it. So,glad I looked up Turkuaz.

One of the most underrated drummers in the scene today.
I saw MC host one of the Funk Sessions back in the spring of 2019, and him plus a few other percussionists threw the fuck down and generated some of the best rhythm playing I've ever witnessed. All on a Tuesday night in Denver for a 15 dollar ticket, cant beat that shit

Smokin’ lead on the gold top. One of the tightest live performances I’ve ever heard, this was my introduction to the band. Great first impression.

Listened to this a few dozen times now, definitely enjoying this immensely! The drummer is a monster, he sets the groove up and keeps it until the very end. Love the horn shots, guitar solo with a great modal feel. This is good shit!

Very eclectic mix of individuals that work. Love the Saxs, the drummer the girls especially the annie lennox style vocal she infuses. The guitar need I say more? The addition of the french lyricist and the compilation of the funk works very well that not too many bands have been able to pull off with the likes of The Style Council, Tower or Power, War just to name a few. Good Job guys!
