Two of my favourite music people having a conversation - love it!
The "Ammonia Avenue" box set does include half speed remasters.
Eric Woolfson once quipped that it was better that people asked why APP didn't play live, than why they did 😂.

Ammonia Avenue, Tales of Mystery and Eye in the Sky all box sets with Vinyl includes. The only without Vinyl is turn of a friendly card.

I don’t understand why Alan Parsons plays shows around the world like Columbia and Holland but not in UK as far as I know

I wondered about this back in the day, and when Alan commented on the matter he says it's simply that there''s no promoter willing to cover it, otherwise they would. Personally, I think there's audience enough for a one-off at say MEN Arena or something of that stature, it's been that long since he performed here, but we need others to think so too.......

TOAFC was the smaller edition, Ammonia, Tales and EITS were the larger, vinyl loaded ones. Hopefully, TOAFC gets a larger release to fit with the others, plus an Atmos mix as hopefully do the others too. Probably a minority interest, but I'd be keen on a Vulture Culture album too. It's a more simply structured LP, but I feel it's got a serious clutch of really great songs, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.......I met Alan in person at the end of tour party for On Air which I was lucky enough to have a ticket for at Shepherds Bush Empire, which is one of my most precious memories. Thanks both for this really absorbing interview.

Fantastic interview, Phil!! I received my copy of the Pyramid Super Deluxe set (autographed) recently, and am really looking forward to diving into it. Great, great, great, album!! I will never forget the day that I purchased that record when it came out in 1978!! I must have played it 4 or 5 times that night! ❤ 'I Robot' needs to be next for the Super Deluxe treatment!!

Great interview / Now time to save for that future I-Robot box set, that Alan mentioned - Hopefully sooner rather than later. I have 2 tickets in hand to see him in concert in November in Bethlehem Pennsylvania. Well done Phil.

Well you eventually won him over with your unassuming charm, Phil. But I sense it took Mr Parsons a short while to thaw out...at first he seemed a trifle bored, distracted, aloof & maybe even frustrated. Must be difficult being a genius, I guess. But all in all a fine interview, sir.

A very good and informative interview Phil. You obviously had done your homework and won Alan over by the end of the interview

Excellent interview Phil. I remember Jimmy Page saying that John Miles was the ultimate professional when he worked with him on his solo album and tour.
