- Our FINAL day here in Bangalore (bengaluru) and we can honestly say it is one of our favourite cities. With lots of markets, street food, high end malls and GREAT BEER....we would highly recommend a visit. Today we meet up with an incredibly famous chef, Mr Chef PILLAI and we were lucky enough to also meet the Iconic UNCLE EGG....known for his famous egg fried rice and masala eggs (we think)

The local prices for all the dishes that were served at pillai would total to less than 300rs. But then the taste, ambiance and service wouldnt be the same.

There are great tailors in India. Cheap as chips . Get a kurtha hand made if you can. Bit like a salwar kameez. They are comfortable cotton wear tops for men n women.

my honest review for uncle egg fried rice is overrated, i have tried it once it's pretty average and costs little more when compare to other egg fried rice around that place , don't get it wrong this is not for spreading hate

I like how you left the money, that's how you should be. Often I see westerners taking free things because they were offered not realizing the culture, in eastern countries when the store owner or clerk offers something for free its a sign of respect and a gesture of kindness, you are supposed to respond by insisting payment as a gesture of respect. The middle eastern people have had so much taken from them and yet it is still in there nature and in there culture to exude generosity. Please don't take granted of the kindness shown to you.
