we dark magician players don't need only illusion of chaos, but even the other battle of chaos supports like timaeus and master of chaos, and, specially, of dragoon! but for free dragoon, verte must be banned

Man what part of, "unaffected" do these players not understand? You see Dark Magician the Dragon Knight and Eternal Soul combo, guess what? You're not breaking that combo without beating him with ATK points, a send to GY effect, or tributing him off the field. And even then that probably won't work since ES will bring him right back so you have to beat him twice.
I just faced this deck in plat. Luckily I was playing Mathmec Ignister and had arrival on the field was able to summon an unaffected access code talker with 8k atk. Destroyed secret village and eternal soul, GG lol. Though I believe Branded Dark magician is pretty good. Should reach at least plat 1 with it.
its not that the DM deck can hold its own against top/meta decks, its just that despia/branded is broken af even as an engine. max rank i could reach with a pure DM deck was g2, thats it.

Seeing those players trying to do something to Dark Magician & DM Dragon Knight WHILE Eternal Soul was on the field was painful & these are the players who are higher ranked than me I could update my own Dark Magician deck with this although I only have 2 Magician’s Souls… Where is that Dark Magician support?!? Both it & the Blue Eyes support came out the same time IRL but only the Blue Eyes support came to Master Duel. I thought we would get the DM support next pack but nope
@@atem7 I mean it's too expensive to build anything really. If you're not paying for it, it's tough to earn too much gems. I mean, when you dismantle a card it shouldn't be royal to get 30 ur cp back. It would be easier for people to try out different decks but Konami needs its money lol

Dark Magician the Dragon Knight protect spell/trap cards, while Eternal Souls make Dark Magician immune to card effect. Truly beautiful.
