You don't see many voguers with clean lines and poses like these dancers here. Nowadays the focus seems to be who can be the loudest, messiest, and the one with the largest, most erratic windmills and dips.
Marvin Matsuda is the person that put Connecticut on the map when it came to Ballroom. I can remember the 1st time myself and Marvin's cousin took him to New York (Midtown 43) clubbing, Marvin was never the same afterwards. He loved going to New York. This is when the kids vogued down. Boy do I miss this Era!!

I don't know what kinda story is being told or picture being painted when all that you are doing is throwing your body on the floor all the time. Periodt!!
