The Rise is a great feel. My son and I were fortunate enough to float ~16 miles of the Madison outside of Ennis, MT two weeks ago, and we were using borrowed rods (identical Echo XL Carbons). My son's rod had a Rise and my rod had a Sage Spectrum C. Both were great. We preferred the Rise by a sliver, although largely subjective. Really can't go wrong with any of these reels mentioned.
Thanks! I appreciate your thoughts. I’ve had a few other people ask about the run. That might be another good comparison to do with the rise since they’re so similar. Also, I’ve got a bravo. Review will be coming soon. I’ve order the bravo LT so they won’t be far behind
My Redington rise iii stopped clicking, any idea why?
Good quick review! Spot on from my experiences too! Fish on!
I think both reels are great for the money, but I will buy the rise, looks better IMO.

The Run and the Bravo LT might be two additional comparable reels to add to the mix (all four being great reels for the $). Thanks.
