Why aren't they patching this glitch, I'm grateful for this glitch cuz this allowed me to duplicate almost everything. I don't know if this will take away my enjoyment. But boy oh boy am I stacked and happy - nanites ♾️ units ♾️ items ♾️
Hyaline brains and inverted mirrors can get the nanite counts high very very fast. However. I found the absolute most efficient method for current nanites farming is actually duplicating suspicious arms packages, opening them and selling the unused weapon tech mods, This method can get 40,000 nanites in under 5 minutes
This is the method I use. Dupe stacks of 50 arms or tech after destroying or selling the random stuff. Open them all and sell for 70 to 100k nanites at a local station.
For Nanites especially, you don't have to break the first refiner every time and then have to wait for more to smelt. Just count how many you place and remove all but the initial refiner, then interact with it (you don't have to do anything but open it) and start it all over again! Saved me a bunch of time x
BTW, if you leave the tainted metal in and do the dup, you will get the tainted metal duplicated, as well as the nanites, as well as whatever you fueled the original refiner with...
If you put the emergency broadcast beacon in your personal refiner before you pulse to freighter you can take it out after you finish and use it again. So only ever have to get one . Also you can get a free one from the anomaly.
This glitch still works as of today, Xbox Series X. A fastest and easy method is to find a Radiant Shard, dupe it with this method, then put 10 in the refiner. When it's finished, put another 10 in the refiner, till you don't have enough Shards. So each time you will break a refiner, you can get 10k Nanites, which is 10 times faster
All you have to do is just make sure you fill up a refiner with nanites and add another refiner on top. Don't take out and make sure when you pick it up it says inventory is full and keep trying to pick it up even if you're full. You'll notice you will receive all the nanites every time you try to pick it up. I use runaway mold it stacks to max! You can leave it in base just make sure when you do it your inventory is full. Also make sure refiner is off when you do it!

Nice work. I did wonder if it would be simpler to change the difficulty setting so you pay nothing for items if the purpose of this is to have an abundance of nanites to make the cost of items irrelavant.
Does this still work? Went through the galaxy core and still damaged my living ship, atlanticid multitool. And my exosuit royally. All while being on my capital ship. Go figure. Only upside is things are easier to find in the second galaxy. Got 2 curious deposits bases relatively close to each other in order to farm nanites. Looking for processed meat now to repair my living ship and larvae cores. Otherwise not really into this binge thing. Your bird of prey sentinel ship is a little tool lite for me. Buzzing around in a purge Z. Kept the standard aftertrail too. Not into that multicolor trail. Also not into that Darth Vader look or is it the sith order look. Anyway with 300 hours into this game doing shortcuts seems like a mute point. Like Nada said, "it's the journey ". Peace.
Or . . . You use refiner to duplicate lardal core , then refine the lardo core into nanites , Then you take your stack of 4095 nantites and duplicate the stacks with refiner. Requires a bunch of refiners 😂 Can make 500,000 - 1mill. nanites in an hour....
@@Archon7478 jump back and forth with 2 sets of refiners . 250,000 nanites in 5min. I think the refining time on tainted metal is slower. Ill have to check. To refine a stack of 10 lador core for 50 nanites , is faster then refining 10 tainted metal for 20 nanites.
@@xblackoceanx Yeah, It does take a while . (I usually go watch RUclips XD) but I also usually set up like 10 refiners with this so it makes a lot of nanites.

either the sentinel or x class upgrades go for ~ 1k nanites each i can get 50k in 2 minutes

Yeah that's true, I never remember how many I placed down, so I end up breaking it. XD

This also works using larval cores. They are a lot easier to find but only stack in groups of ten, so that part is pretty annoying.
A lot of things refine into nanites, but tainted metal is the most efficient!
There is much faster methods boys quit struggeling start thinking and if you dont know look it up
Tip, don't pickup the last portable refiner. Then go ahead and place the portable refiners over the one you didn't pickup.

Can you put nanites into a refiner? I thought once you got nanite clusters, they turned straight into currency.

With the latest update just scrap A and S class ships. Make credits scraping ships now and sell the mods for nanites.
For me a hyacine brain is faster to duplicate and farm but yeah basically the same method

Yeah, I get the argument that duping stuff ruins the journey, but then what would I make my videos on. XD
Whats the point of gliching currency, when you can just turn off the need for things costing anything in the difficulty settings

You can make a stack of 4095 with tainted metal too, so its the same. larval cores only stack in 10's so its a big pain.
