I got Pomoca skins a few years ago...that tool they give you is awesome! My Pomoca's adjust - length wise - at the tip. It doesn't look like you can adjust the length of these, though. A quick tutorial on what length to cut skins to and how, might be nice. Mine cover the entire bottom length, which is probably not necessary!
Oh awesome! We have been using the G3 too a lot as well and like that one, but the hyper glide skins are a little thinner and I think this one works a little better.
Thanks, very helpful video and well done. Looks like an awesome process and good tool to use. Two questions, at 7:32, you mention there is a little bit of base showing on each side. But it seems in the video the right side of the ski (as the viewer sees it) has some base showing while the left side only has the edge showing? Also the other question is I thought it's best to have only edges showing (esp under the foot), as this will help prevent slipping on steep slopes (no slippery base under one's feet). This tool looks like the offset helps in only cutting the skin to expose the edges. Thanks again, well done video (great closeups, really helps).
There are a couple things you can do: 1. if you have the ability to re-rivet or sew the tail assembly back on you can do that. 2. If you don't think you an pull that off you can cut to length and then trim the bottom edge round and go no tail clip. Option 2 isn't as ideal, but if you have decent glue it works and I've done it plenty of times. hope that helps. - Madsen
Great video. Just got some new Pomoca skins and trimmer - now I have the know-how to "get r done".
This was super helpful - it's much easier having never done it seeing it step by step.

Glad you liked it!
I need to cut my tail off and attach a new clip because my skins are too long. Any advice?

I just bought these skins and cannot figure out how to move the clip to make the tail longer. Tips?
Hi Dionne - it can be a little tricky. Can you email our shop: customerservice@freeheellife.com and we can walk you through on the phone.
