Nice little sweet romantic show with the usual plot. Doting ML and adorably innocent & naive FL. Standard plot thats nothing to write home about but very watchable due to the chemistry and cute interactions between the leads. Another typical Chinese mini drama where bad guys can do all sorts of shit and hardly anything happens to them until the last few mins. 6.5/10 rating
Their is nothing romantic about this drama were the male lead forcing the female lead into unwanted marriage or else he would throw back to those two men to be rape or killed.
Chinese sarcasm is very sadistic.

omg 10 out of 10 lol story was fun with a twist on the usual boring story line of the substitute bride lol and the fl and ml only loved each other!!!! and no like i met her as a child stuff just love from time spent and fl was actually smart though a little naive at first and they are sweet and totally domineering for each other so cute!!
this is pretty good, kinda weird plots that wasnt really told in detail, the crazy fl looks nothing like the main fl, but i really loved the relationship between the ml and fl, one thing i would change on all the 800 dramas i have seen so far is the exes or someones mom being insane and just wants to take full on rage on others for no reason
Not are these dramas full of people with night blindness, but faces blindness as well.

On the one hand, forcing someone into marriage under threat of sending them back to the criminals they just escaped from is a despicable thing to do (whether he would have followed through with it, I don't know). On the other hand, I always want to applaud on the very rare occasion that a character resists the effects of whatever horrible drugs are used in these dramas. I ask in all seriousness, is there anyone in the world who thinks there is anything at all romantic about forcing a sexual encounter by the use of drugs or whatever? Because, there is not--it is disgusting and sick. Does that really ever happen in Chinese families? I really, truly hope not. 😡
Okay, well, despite the questionable start...this was a really good one, with leads who actually stand up for their marriage AND show some intelligence. 😅 No long drawn out misunderstandings, no divorcing. I was a bit confused towards the end there--the bit about wedding dates, not sure what that was all about--but who cares, the bad guys were all caught and the couple are set to enjoy their happily ever after. It's all good! 😄❤

Only think of the Rhino horn 🦏 in Chinese medicine and also certain bits of the tiger 🐅 are used. I think that the powder in drinks is some sort of Spanish Fly.
But you’re right, I hate the use of drugs and alcohol in the drama romances in China. I guess a Chinese woman can’t enjoy sex without being seen as wanton, a slut or a nymphomaniac.
